While driving down the street this place catches your attention. Your attention is not towards the little building, but the smell of BBQ coming from the back of the building. The lady taking the orders was very nice and was able to take my husband’s humor. She was very helpful to us, because it was our first time coming here. They wait is not that long for this drive up and order establishment. I was very pleased with my food. So, if you’re ever in Hinesville just come down Hwy 196 and pick up a plate of goodness.

collard greens and mac was soooo good. pulled pork sandwich had a weird lemon taste to it. ive never had pulled pork like that but it was still very good. the portions were insanely huge too. very delicious

This is a 10 dollar plate.. definitely not good bbq!! You could bake your own ribs and use liquid smoke to get that flavor and consistency.. the bbq isn’t cooked over a real grill pit so its bland meat..

I don’t live in the area any more and I am here to tell you this is amazing BBQ. If I can enjoy BBQ as my last meal, it would very much be from here. I live in AZ now, but I’d take a trip back to GA JUST for this place. Please take a moment to eat here if you haven’t. I took friends here who lived on post longer than I had and they were shocked they never eaten here!

We had the catfish, pulled pork, greens, coleslaw, baked beans and potato salad. All really good. The pulled pork sandwiches were huge. The catfish had amazing flavor. The sides were also very, very good. Oh and their homemade BBQ sauce was good, sweet with a good vinegar tang. We ordered take out and it was ready within 10-15 minutes. We definitely will be back.

You want to make sure you’re getting what you paid for as far as the meat, because they passed off something that I really knew it wasn’t what I ordered. You have to know your barbecue. Overall, they give you a good amount of food and the sauce is in container cups, not on the meat itself.

I ordered the brisket, mac n cheese and collards, a generous portion of each was served. The brisket was served untrimmed but there is so much flavor added from the fat cap. Since the portions are so large, you aren’t missing out on anything by leaving it on. It was really excellent, I didn’t even try any sauce on it. Sides were very very good as well!
