It was my first visit to this restaurant. I wanted wings and they have several options. I chose the Boneless Gangnam Style since I prefer spicy food. My wait was about fifteen minutes for carryout. My food smelled so good that my mouth was watering before I even got back in my car. The wings did not disappoint. They were delicious. I also got the Sweet Potato Fries and they were quite good and not greasy. I will be back.

I ordered the Golden Garlic Wings, Spicy Galbi, and Kimchi Fried Rice, and everything hit the mark. The wings were perfectly crispy with that buttery garlic glaze that makes you keep reaching for “just one more.” The spicy galbi brought a deep, savory heat without being overpowering — tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. And the kimchi fried rice? Hands down one of the best sides to balance everything out — bold, tangy, and packed with umami.

I had BBQ Chicken when we lived in South Korea back then and so happy the franchise is here as well. Though pricey, the quality of the chicken makes up for it. Crispy and you can tell they use good oil or don’t reuse the oil too much as it has a clean aftertaste.

The texture was spot-on—crunchy on the outside while still juicy and tender inside—and the sauce was rich without being overpowering. You can really taste the difference in preparation and consistency at this location.

These were THE BEST wings I have EVER had. Believe the HYPE! The 30 researchers absolutely know what they’re doing. My wings were well seasoned, delicious, and remained crispy even after a 20minute ride back home. My favorite were the “spicy original” wings. They were not just hot from cayenne and other peppery spices. The seasoning they use on this flavor, went all through the wings, down to the bone. These wings were perfectly cooked, leaving the interior flesh tender and juicy. I can tell the grease being used was also fresh and the wings were not refried. I do not understand why there wasn’t a line out the door. Will definitely come back. My new go-to spot for wings!

This is my third time ordering, and honestly the food was the best this third time. In the previous times, the chicken was not fully covered in sauce. This time, the chicken was great, and it tasted great too. However, I found this metal piece inside the chicken. I hope that sanitation and food contamination is considered a priority at this location. The food tasted well, but I was shocked by the metal piece.

I bought the boneless wings. It was amazing, I bought the secret cause flavor and it was too good. I also ate it with yum-yum sauce. I also order tteokboki with cheese, it was so flavorful tbh. I order carryout by calling 15 minutes before arriving and it was ready. Super good food and service 10/10

I ordered my food to go. The chicken was basically just skin or breading, the fries were just carry out fries and there was less than average amount of sauce of the chicken. The So Ddeok So Ddeok was okay… at the rockville location, they give amazing chicken, crispy fries and the So Ddeok So Ddeok comes with 3 skewers and different flavors. So after this I was pretty disappointed by the time I got home, they were closed so I just had to deal with it after I paid almost $45 for food.

BBQ Chicken in Greenbelt was actually open on Thanksgiving Day—wow, that was a nice surprise. Even though they were busy, the staff still greeted me with a smile. The food was fresh, and the honey garlic chicken is still my favorite.

I’ve been coming to bb.q Chicken since high school, and it’s still the best! Their crispy chicken is unbeatable, but the real star for me is the Mala Tteokbokki. It’s spicy, flavorful, and always cooked to perfection.
