My wife and I are pretty protective of our date night meals. We don’t go out often and, when we do, we have a short list of places that we like to visit. Places like Coastal Flats and Panda Express that are known winners and will always provide us with a quality meal. We went out on a limb and decided to shake things up a little bit. Bazin’s on Church quickly rose to the top of our list as a place that was worth trying.

Came here for a friend’s birthday dinner celebration and it did not disappoint. Sea bass was amazing, one of my favorite things I’ve ever had. Would definitely come back/become a regular. Our server, Owen, was great as well.

This was my first visit to this restaurant and it was a nice experience. We sat in their patio area which was nice and cozy and great social spot.

I’ve had a couple of great experiences here. The last time, during the pandemic, I enjoyed a pleasant ambiance with my best friends in the spacious outdoor seating in the back with the party lights strung across – such a fun look! Now, that outdoor space is gone, which is a bummer for me, but the inside is also beautiful. The food is delicious, but very pricey. Plan to spend $30+ on drinks and apps alone.

The food was delicious and the staff was awesome! We especially loved the desserts. The kitchen was very accommodating to my mom who can’t have dairy. We will be back!

I visited on a Saturday evening to refresh my memory of what this kitchen offers as one of the area’s upscale Modern American eateries. The dining room has a cozy feel to go with its size. Noise levels rise as the evening progresses from quiet to moderate. I sat at the 12-seat bar with the bartender greeting me within a couple of minutes. Service was uniformly attentive and unobtrusive through my just over two hours there.

We used to eat here years ago when we lived in the area. Went for dinner the other night and was so pleased to see that this place, after 17 years, is better than ever! They hit the sweet spot between casual and fine dining, with a real exes vibe and excellent cuisine

Amazing New Years Eve dinner. Sea bass was one of the best dishes I have eaten. Scallops were also delicious. Service was also very good.

Made the reservation for a friend’s birthday. The staff nailed it. The wine selection was wide and deep. The food was EXCELLENT. Especially the salted caramel dessert at the end, which included a candle.

My husband and I went for his birthday dinner on a Friday night and it was a mixed experience for us. Our server was attentive as was the hosting staff. The atmosphere was not so great. For some reason, there was no air conditioning (in July) and we were incredibly uncomfortable throughout the entire dinner, as the temperature was in the high 80s and very humid. The dining room is also quite crowded and could use some tables removed because they are way too close to each other. I had a blood orange margarita and it was tasty and generous with the alcohol. We had a couple of items from the specials, the meatball appetizer which was excellent and the filet mignon which had a sauce on it that my husband did not like at all. I had the short ribs and they were very tender but both the sauce and the puree were too watery. We shared the creme brulee for dessert and it was very good, but I ended up chewing on a piece of plastic wrap that was inside the cookie that accompanied it, so that wasn’t so pleasant. Overall, it was such an inconsistent experience that I’m not sure that we would return.
