This place indeed has the best breakfast in the Petoskey area! The Greek Omelet was a welcome change compared to the traditional offerings as the gyro meat was delicious. They have great options for kids as well. Our food came out quickly, and the staff here was very welcoming

Ordered bayside potatoes, too much odd seasonings like thyme, oregano maybe?? Farmers omelette was also way over seasoned as well. We ordered hashbrowns, they were good but greasy. Got the ultimate pork eggs Benedict, that was amazing. Portions were very generous. If you like overly seasoned food, you’ll like it here. Staff were gracious and professional. And don’t drink the water, tasted like metal.

Great place for great food. Fast friendly service with food done right. We were seated right away. They have a nice pet friendly outdoor area. Food came out quickly. We had a really nice lunch.
There’s a great item that’s really not on the menu that I think they’re happy to make. The photo in this review actually shows two entree items… a delicious bacon cheeseburger that I added to my salad plate. The salad, their fresh house salad, our awesome waitress asked their fantastic chefs to put sliced grilled chicken over the top. It was really good

I’ve eaten at the Bayside 3 times over the past year. By the way they treat me you’d think i ate there every day. The service is incredibly friendly and accomidating. Oh, and by the way, the breakfast is outstnading. The hashbrowns came out shateringly crisp (the way i love them) and the breakfast burito was enough for two meals. If your eating with a group, ask for a “table cake.” You’ll be glad you did.

We happened upon this place in our journey around northern Michigan. We were not disappointed! The coffee will put hair on your chest, and the Bay’s Corned Beef Hash was delicious! – the corned beef did not come out of a can!! It’s definitely a stop worth making!
I had to take a photo of the silverware on the wall; we have a collector in the family, and this happened to be the first time we’d seen a set with a knife. – so that was fun too!

Great place to grab a breakfast! Food was DELICIOUS. Specifically, The Traditional Eggs Benedict was worth writing home about. 🙂 I hope to come here again. We are just visiting Petoskey.
The service was great! Very friendly staff!! Refreshing to have such nice service. It was a little bit of a wait but it was really worth it. They had only 3 servers today. The were not slacking.
All the food brought out looking amazing! I can see why the place was busy. The locals must love it. The pancakes were as big as the plate!!
The facility was very clean and the restaurant is located right on the harbor. A lovely location.

Casual diner…open seating, roomy inside with booths and tables. First time here. Recommended by friends as the place to check out for breakfast in Petoskey…and it did not disappoint!
Ordered the prime rib hash and the corned beef hash… both were delicious. Slices of prime rib and chunks of corned beef were cooked with potatoes, onions, and peppers. The prime rib version had mushrooms plus a side of au jus. Both were then topped with 2 sunny side up eggs and hollandaise sauce.
The only thing that felt missing was a side of toast or something, but other than that, the meal was excellent.
Waitress was very nice and attentive to everyone at the table.
Would definitely stop back in here to try other items on the menu!

Went here for breakfast before the yacht show in Bay Harbor. Good service, nice helping sizes. Prices were probably a little below the average for what you get which is nice! Especially for it being by Bay Harbor! Omelettes are big, but not enough cheese and a little overdone IMO. Location isn’t great if you aren’t from the southside of petoskey. But overall good experience and the waitress we had was super great! I would like to come back and try lunch sometime.
