My wife and I decided to hit this fun restaurant up for the last night of our honeymoon here in San Diego. It was busy and the hardest part of our experience was just the parking. We eventually found a spot and got it. We decided to sit at the bar instead of waiting for a table for two which was not a bad idea. The bar tender was super friendly and helpful. While we don’t drink alcohol or anything it was a nice place to sit for our dinner. We decided to order the Halibut fish and chips and the Pescado rolled tacos. They were great! The sauces for both the rolled tacos and the fish and chips were the bomb. Idk what the red sauce was for my rolled tacos but it was amazing. Over all we lover the place and would visit again if we come back to town. The only negative about the place is the fish smell but it’s worth it as A you get great fresh fish (seafood) and B you can’t smell it after 5 minutes of being in the restaurant anyways. Over all 5/5 for us!

An exceptional seafood place that truly stands out. I’ve been here twice, and both times the food was outstanding. The fresh catch was perfectly cooked, and the seafood pasta from my previous visit was generous, protein-rich, and incredibly satisfying. Portions are large, but the quality is what really impresses. Service is fast and friendly, and the atmosphere feels warm and welcoming. The interior is stylish, with real fishing rods and a strong fishing theme that adds character. A small but important detail: the mussels are always perfectly clean, with no sand at all.

We had a wonderful experience at Bay Park Fish Company. The seafood was fresh, flavorful, and clearly well prepared. What really made the visit stand out, though, was the service. Our hostess, Gabby, was absolutely exceptional—welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. She set the tone for a great meal from the moment we walked in. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great seafood and outstanding hospitality.

My husband and I have been wanting to come here for some time as we shop at Seiseil’s right around the corner every week. My husband has been here a few times before but I have not. We finally had the chance to go this past weekend and I was really hyped up and excited! We sat at the high tops in the bar since that was first available seating. The environment is super cute and Casual as you’d expect from a bar vibe. What is not usual is how amazing their Seafood is! We even ordered a sushi roll and I was so impressed! We ordered the sunset sushi roll which was Flavor packed and tasted like a good quality fish. We also ordered the calamari as a starter. We ordered some drinks. And I ordered the macadamian not crested halibut as my main. Honestly we ordered so much food but still managed to order dessert. We ordered the brown butter cake which was topped with ice cream and whipped cream. I definitely left with a to-go box as this was a lot of food! Our server, Vince, was also super tentative and nice, checked on us a number of times to make sure we were all set and gave great advice on what to order. I was so impressed with the quality of the food and great service. I will 100% be back!

4.5 stars easily. The only two things knocking it down .5 are price and parking. It’s easily $40 per person only dining on the happy hour menu which has a lot of things 20% off which is on the higher end of dining in San Diego.

Food is fantastic and very generous portions. Good wine and beer selection and a full bar. The service is really good except for follow up requests for corrections or missing items, which there were 3 during our visit and never got corrected until the check but everyone was very very nice.

Patio chairs are horrendous for tall people but inside is great.

Definitely recommend if you have that kind of spending money and aren’t expecting fine dining.

Loved the coconut shrimp and sushi tower, espresso martini was disappointing. My mom really enjoyed her swordfish sandwich.

My wife’s fish tacos were good. My fish and chips were the driest fish I’ve ever had. Like cardboard. Thin pieces of halibut, over cooked and dry as a bone. To their credit they took it off tge bill. I really expected more from a fish joint.

One of my favorite spots for happy hour! Great drinks and great deal. I’m vegan so a seafood spot isn’t usually my go-to but they have some veg options. Friends RAVE about the quality of the fish. Service is always great and staff is nothing but friendly and helpful!

Food was amazing, I got a hand roll and the macadamia crusted halibut and it was delicious. They were averagely busy, and we got a seat right away but it took about 10min for the server to greet us and give us waters.
The patio was nice, atmosphere was great and food was even better. I’d definitely go back!

When I find a seafood restaurant that does it right, I gladly recognize it with a hearty, glorious review.

I could not wait to dig into my macadamia crusted, catch of the day swordfish and while the picture captures the perfectly moist and tender cut, the first bites were hot all throughout without being overcooked. I couldn’t stop with just one bite!!! The Mac sauce was delicate and did not compete with the flavor of the swordfish and was not overly salty (most restaurant food is too salty).

My wife’s fish tacos were cooked in the same manner and there was plenty of fish!

This meal was so good that we are looking forward to our return soon! This is how fish is to be cooked and presented. This is a meal and food establishment worth going out for.
