Great place for Indian food! It also has the sports bar vibe with large TV displays, including cricket matches, which adds to the experience. There’s plenty of space, making it comfortable for groups as well.

My friend and I visited Bawarchi restaurant in Apex this afternoon. Wow! If only I have delicious, superbly spiced, authentic food in all the restaurants I try like Bawarchi! I’m soooo happy my friend and I had lunch here! Was my first time and my friend has brought a couple friends here too. To add to the elegant dining room experience with a relaxing vibe were large screen televisions in which videos were playing of modern pop Indian music. Music was not overwhelming so we could enjoy conversation too! Plus , and often I find very important , is all the staff work together well. Our server, Dittu, was excellent! He was polite, provided suggestions when asked thoughtfully, professional , conversational, and attentive as the main server to our table. We shared our travel experiences from around the world which was fun and relaxing. There is a wide selection of chicken, shrimp, and vegetarian options. It was about $20 a person plus or minus depending on the dish selected. We could tell the food was fresh, made for us specifically, served hot, and did I say delicious????!!!! The portions were a good size and we both left with enough for dinner or lunch the next day ! Thank you Bawarchi staff!

Had a prior bad experience with the order not being correct. Have successfully ordered probably 12 more times after. Tonight my husband got home and this was our food. Absolutely not edible. Covered in grease/butter/oil whatever you call it. We always order the same thing so know this is not how it comes. My husband drove an hour round trip to get this. I sent them the pictures and they tried to tell me this was how it comes. It doesn’t. Hasn’t ever. Asked for a refund. They declined. Said they couldn’t do a refund. Will be disputing the credit card charge. Check your food before you leave.

Great dinning room and wonderful staff. Food is very good. We tried three of the vegan dishes. The Dal Tadka was a little watery but the Karaikudi was amazing. The Vegetable Manchuria was really tasty. AND they have cloth napkins, which I love. Overall it was a really nice visit.

This was the first time we had Dosas at Bawarchi grill. Honestly it was the best dosa I had in town. I loved their ambience and Dittu was a great server. He was kind , thoughtful and catered to our needs very attentively. We shall be back for another date night if dosas for sure

Ordered for takeout the karampodi chicken and Apollo fish. Worst dish that was prepared at Bawarchi. No taste. Lot of corn flour in both the dishes. Both dish tasted the same. Had to throw out both the dishes. Never going there again.

Good ambience and music but not so good food and service. Amongst all that we ordered, only Apollo fish was excellent, rest all was not meant for our palates. It was mediocre but won’t order those dishes anywhere else too. Had Mandakini goat and Avakai Biryani for the first time so can’t comment much as we weren’t expecting sweetness in a spicy kolhapuri dish and so much pickle in Avakai Biryani. Tandoori pomfret was served on a sizzler plate but no salt or spices there. Lemon is a must with Fish so please don’t skip serving it. Again service could have been better by simply asking “is everything okay? or Do you need anything else?” We had to wait until our meal was finished to order mango lassi and lemon soda. No complaints on the Portions as they are big enough to share.

Avoid ordering any chicken dishes here. The food was stale and had a strong, unpleasant smell. The service was disappointing as well — even after I asked for the dish to be replaced due to the odor, they simply reheated it and brought back the same smelly plate. Extremely poor experience.

The worst Chicken biryani I’ve ever had in USA. There’s no salt and the masala is uncooked and raw. Every spoon of the biryani shows how irresponsibly the food was cooked. They’re just taking people for granted. Very bad.
09/03/2023 I tried crispy corn and Chicken Chukka. The crispy corn is so hard that it gets stuck in and around your teeth. They prepare food so irresponsibly that the food spoils customer’s food and health.

This is the best Indian food we have ever had! My husband and myself ordered the Lamb Saag and it was delicious. So much flavor! The restaurant is a great mix of feeling authentic, fun, and a nice night out feel about it. The service was amazing, with a very attentive and pleasant staff. We will definitely be back!
