My boyfriend stopped to get breakfast here and it has a cozy, diner vibe we both loved.
Absolutely is true about the french toast, and I had Biscuits and Gravy, it was amazing as well!
It was also very affordable for a full meal for two people; me and my boyfriend were shocked it wasn’t expensive.
My boyfriend is more of a coffee drinker but he mentioned he wasn’t a fan of the coffee, but everything was absolutely worth it!

1st time in. Love the atmosphere of the place. The food was extremely delicious. The omelet looked full of veggies and meat. The pork chop,eggs and hash browns where cooked to perfection. Thank you for a great dining experience.

Stopped for lunch at Bates City Diner. We truly enjoy trying new places and this one did not disappoint. Hubby had the House omelet which included ham, sausage, onions, peppers and cheese. It came with two small pancakes. He really enjoyed his meal. I ordered a cheese burger with onion rings and it also came with a cup of chili. Everything was very tasty though I thought the chili was a little too thick and dry. Appreciated our server checking in with us several times.

Everything we had was fantastic! It seems most menu items come with a cup of soup. I’m not usually a soup person and definitely not a tomato based soup at that. But the soup of the day was Tomato Basil, and the waitress insisted that I at least give it a try. THAT SOUP WAS THE STAR OF THE SHOW and I do not mean that in a bad way about the other food we ate, it was all fantastic! But that soup has me drooling to go back.

Really good burger, crisp bun, great fried mushrooms, great waitress staff, descent prices. Place has a 50s diner feel with racing pictures. Definitely comfortable and pretty clean.
