Best colombian spot to dance salsa, feels like back home. Djs on Friday plays the best of the best, the food is awesome. Yellow Papa criolla is the best I tasted in the usa. Will come back again.

Last night, I was invited to Tardes Caleñas Bar and Restaurant to celebrate a friend’s birthday. It was one of the most electrifying experiences of my life. The ambiance and atmosphere were out of this world. I was transported to Colombia and didn’t want to leave.
The music was nonstop, the crowd was very friendly, and I got so engaged that I felt transformed. I started mingling and even played Chacha at the invitation of some guests.
I kicked off my evening with two cold Coronas. I requested a frozen glass, but it was served so cold that it didn’t seem necessary.
For my meal, I ordered fried plantains with shredded steak, and as a starter, I had beef enpeñada, which was delicious.
The food was flavorful, and the atmosphere was incredibly immersive. I had an amazing, unforgettable time and would recommend this place to anyone looking for great food, fun, and a fantastic experience. Whoosh, Salsa bailamos!

Tardes Caleñas Bar Restaurant A Little Taste of Colombia Under the Miami Sun ☀️
This spot instantly transported me straight to Colombia from the bright colors on the plates to the warm, family style hospitality. Tardes Caleñas has that cozy neighborhood energy where every meal feels home cooked with love.
I ordered the bistec encebollado (steak with onions) with rice, salad, and tostones everything was fresh, flavorful, and seasoned to perfection. The steak was tender, the onions caramelized just right, and those crispy tostones were the perfect crunch. Paired with a glass of red wine and that Miami sunshine? Unreal.
What I love most is the laid-back outdoor setup you can feel the breeze, hear soft music, and just enjoy real Latin comfort food in a relaxed atmosphere. The staff was so kind and attentive you can tell they care about every guest.
✨ Whether you’re craving authentic Colombian food or looking for a sunny spot to enjoy a flavorful lunch, Tardes Caleñas Bar Restaurant is a hidden gem that hits every note.

Great music, made for a good bive atmosphere. bottle service not very, expensive, can get a bottle under 150. Great place to eat and great for weekend nightclub. Food was good, had the empabada and picadera, went good with drik, and good seasoning. Limited cocktails is reason for 4 start, not able to make an old fashion. Good service even on a busy night.

Food was excellent! Delicious and reasonably priced Empanadas delicious and under 3 bucks. Teaser salad with chicken very good. Steak was delicious as well. Loved the chicarones. Best I’ve ever had, real deal. Fried Plantains excellent along with beans, rice sides Eat in doors or out. Promptly courteous service, made for a wonderful lunch. The only issue is had was the 18% tip was included in the bill. Since we don’t read Spanish and we were not told about this practice, we did not know and tipped $20. This made a reasonably priced meal expensive. Future customers look out for this practice. Management let your customers know. It’s dishonest. Anyway as stated everything else was good.

Our first time here. Great delicious food, even though they served me about 10 minutes after my husband. Horrible service from the getgo. Hostess does not have people skills at all. Very unpleasant welcome with no smile back. I felt intimidated instead of welcomed. Our waitress never checked on us for a much wanted cocktail refill and dessert. Almost All waitresses walking around with snobby attitudes instead of having a welcoming attitude lacking charisma. We heard there was great music but none so we didn’t even stay to dance. No “Thank you” or “Have a good night” not even a goodbye when paying bill. 2 Thumbs down on service but good reasonably priced food and drinks. Never going back again though.

I stopped in craving something hearty and authentic, and the bandeja paisa didn’t disappoint—loaded with chicharrón, beans, rice, and plantains, it was a flavor bomb. The empanadas were crispy and filled just right, though the service was a bit slow, probably because it was packed. The music was lively, giving the place a fun vibe, but it got a little loud for conversation. Still, the food made up for it, and I’d go back for another taste of Colombia.

We ordered the bandeja paisa was very good. Had several options on the plate. The service is a little slow but overall it was a good spot to eat.

I will never come back to Tardes Caleñas. The service is awful and the discrimination is very clear. If you don’t have a Colombian accent, they treat you differently, charge you right away, and overcharge you. Be very careful and always check your bill before paying.

Don’t come here for food.
Come for vibes. Con eso lo dije todo.
Service is terrible, they make you wait a lot even for water. They don’t pick up the menus after they took the orders, we had to bring it to them. We had to keep reminding them of things we had ordered.. The last meal that was missing the waitress kept it in her hands talking to her friends while we were waiting. Mid way through the long awaited meal, my friend found a piece of a plastic cup in his rice.
The food isn’t it at all. I’m Colombian, and I’m disappointed.
Edit: some of us were sick at night
