My wife, my two sons, and I recently had breakfast here with my sister, my brother in law, my four nieces, and my dad. The food was good. The service was very personable and the atmosphere was very enjoyable. We will surely be visiting this establishment again for breakfast in the future. Also, please see this picture that my niece Kinsley drew. She is quite the artist. This is Mario Princess.

Bates City Cafe is in an old converted gas station. The ambiance matches a gas station/race car theme. The food is traditional Americana Cafe food and is very tasty! Today I had the meat loaf special, that was fantastic! I’m not a huge fan of green beans, but theirs was very tasty! I also had a small piece of pecan pie which was just the right size to finish my meal. I will be back!

Horrible experience all around. Went to try breakfast out. First off if you can’t hear people order then turn radio down. Biscuits n gravy tasted like gravy was left out for days. Horrible smell and taste. Only thing good was the eggs and potatoes. All you hear is server complaining instead of worrying about cleaning tables. Had to wait till she was ready to order and only 2 tables there. Horrible experience and very sad. Definitely won’t be back. And yes have had more than one time Horrible incidents here.
