Basil leaf has authentic, delicious Italian dishes.
We had Shrimp-Scallap Romano and Veal Marsala both dishes were very delicious and plenty big. The only thing the price you see on the menu is the cash price, if you paying with card it’s about 1.19 more.

Wow! A diamond in the rough! Was not expecting the first class service and atomsphere in a place off the beaten path. The breaded pork chops were on special and they were excellent! Our waitress was ready with doggy bags at the end of the meal (We stuffed ourselves and still had a sizable potion left)

Went with the family for dinner here tonight and it was a positive experience. I had read some of the other reviews and was a bit apprehensive but was pleasantly surprised. The staff was super friendly and nice and the food was pretty good. I had the garlic pizza for my entree and it was alright. My family had lots of the Italian food and enjoyed their meals. The place itself is okay looking but man the men’s room was just dated and did not smell nice.

I have a gluten sensitive so for me I can’t really say much about my options when it comes to my gluten sensitivity but the scallops were delicious and so was the sun dried tomatoes that came in my Romano. I would definitely come here again for our server Hannah, who was great at serving us on this valentines evening.

We drive up from New Jersey to have lunch with special friend at this restaurant. Food n portion size are outstanding. Try the Utica Greens and veal parmigiana!!! We will be back before the weather turns.

Excellent food choices. Great atmosphere dine in or enjoy outside dining I ordered Broiled haddock it was absolutely perfectly Broiled. I actually ordered another one to take home I highly recommend this Italian restaurant Great staff & excellent service. Bon Appetite. Cheers to a excellent meal

14 oz delmonico was broiled to perfection. But the star of the show is the utica greens. Wow, just wow! Best greens in cny hands down.
Update: we went back for our anniversary. We usually go to delmonicos. The “medium” steak was “well done” and the utica greens sucked so bad we didn’t even finish them and didn’t bother with any doggie bags. Obviously a different chef this time.
Unfortunately, I can’t afford to give this place another chance considering they have a 50% fail rate at this point.
We went across the street to Applebee’s as a backup plan (the Mrs. Refused to eat her steak).

We started with the Utica Greens and they were delicious. I got a salad and the wife got the soup and they were good. I got the Veal Piedmontese ( something new for me)and that was very good. I got a side of meatballs and the were ok. My wife got the Chicken alla Parmigiana and she liked that. Place was clean. Server was nice.

Really nice restaurant. Good food choices, wonderful decor, and friendly staff. Nice quiet dining, social distancing is not a problem with high back, booth style seating. The restaurant has been there for a while and when trying to decide where to go, Basil Leaf was brought up. Great choice! I am glad we went.
