Love the moody ambience of the indoor bar and the fun casual outdoor space for something completely different. A recent visit with a group on a busy night was fun and lively. Want to give a special shout out to server Luka, who took such excellent care of us – snagging us a bigger space, bringing stools over, anticipating our order needs and more. He was fantastic. Unassuming, friendly, but not shy with a menu rich in interesting and intriguing mixes. A true gem in the Altadena neighborhood, unique in its location and what it offers. The most welcoming staff – thanks Miguel, Lani, and Art, for your hospitality! A place grounded on community and infused with sharing good times – and a great music playlist in the background. Super laid back bar and it’s the perfect environment if you’re looking for somewhere to chill on a weekend without crazy amount of people. It was peaceful with small groups of party enjoying a good vibe. They don’t have any food but they do allow uber eating or bringing your own take out to enjoy the meal in, which brings this bar to their own style. Unlike other bars where they provide some pricey food. Drink prices were reasonable and isn’t crazy expensive. They also have a wine and spirit store next door to the bar entrance which I think it’s cool to see so you’re not intimidated to have to go into the bar to enjoy a cup of good drink, you can bring it home to enjoy. Will need to visit again for another chill night.

This is a classy place to have a real cocktail! I have been here twice and sampled a few drinks. They are all well balanced and delicious. Tonight, we stopped for some takeout, and this bar allows you to bring food, and so we had drinks and dinner if you like gin, try the “Rolls Royce” if you like mezcal try the “Remarkably Generous.”

Unpretentious, yet stylish atmosphere – a great option for date night, meeting with friends, or flying solo. The drink recipes are as thoughtful as the people & environment. Everyone here embodies the spirit of being a “good neighbor” and it’s extremely comfortable and heartwarming to be part of. The staff is knowledgeable, attentive, and very welcoming. Prices are consistent with the LA area, but with quality guaranteed. Overall, Good Neighbor Bar is a real community gem.
