Love some tacos. Barrio doesn’t disappoint. Customizable food is always nice but I typically gravitate towards the selections of their own masterpieces. The house salsa is my absolute favorite and it’s just given to you for free to wolf down with some warm tortilla chips. Kid friendly, festive decor, and tasty everything. Can’t go wrong.

Very neat taco joint! The artwork around the building was awesome. Ordering was different in a great way. Very easy to get exactly what you want. Food was super flavorful and excellent. Only knock I have is the protein portions on the bowls was super tiny. Even after we had it remade, it was small. But that is a big negative in my book, considering it’s the main part of the dish. I highly recommend happy hour for great $15 pitchers of margarita.

I had an extremely unpleasant experience when I ordered takeout from Barrio last night. Although I’ve never had any issues with Barrio before and generally enjoy their food, this recent incident has made me reconsider ever dining there again. I ordered my usual bowl and initially had no problems while eating it. However, shortly after finishing my meal, things took a turn for the worse. Approximately 5-10 minutes later, I started experiencing excruciating stomach cramps that only intensified over time. Within another 5 minutes, I felt incredibly nauseous, prompting me to pull over as I was afraid of vomiting, losing control of my bodily functions, or even fainting while driving. Once I had pulled over, my body temperature skyrocketed and I ended up vomiting everything I had consumed. While I immediately felt relief after throwing up, the entire episode was far from pleasant. Prior to this incident, I had no stomach pain and had been feeling perfectly fine. Although such an occurrence is uncommon for me at Barrio, I am genuinely concerned about the quality of the food and the hygiene practices followed by the staff following this incident. I never thought I would be giving Barrio a bad review and am sad that my favorite restaurant has caused this. Hopefully a solution can be found!

This was my first time at Barrio and it’s was awesome! The chips and queso are a must! There are so many build your own options as well as already out together choices. The Margaritas were soooooo good too! Will definitely be going back!

My first time in Barrio! It won’t be my last. Our server, Amanda, did a wonderful job. I loved being able to create my own taco from a huge list of fresh ingredients. I love that they carry so many Vegan options. Great drinks specials. Next time I am in I’m going to try the flight of Margaritas!

Had dinner with a friend at Barrio in Strongsville. Had several Chef crafted tacos as well as a few of our own creations. Our server answered all our questions and was attentive to our needs and requests. I will certainly be back. I highly recommend eating here!!

Just go to Taco Bell or Chipotle and save yourself a lot of money. Worst tacos I’ve had in years; absolutely flavorless store-bought quality tortillas, meat so tough and chewy it could be used as a bike seat, and also somehow the wettest and soggiest tacos I’ve ever experienced. Also, super overpriced drinks that are mostly just ice. Maybe the Lakewood location is better, but avoid this one. My first time ever sitting down to eat at a restaurant when I’ve actually considered complaining to the waitstaff. The price was outrageous for the horribly lackluster food, drinks, and service provided.

This one is by far way better than the Tremont location! I mean Tremont is a hallway with tables while the Strongsville location is nice and spacious. Our waitress was super sweet and we had an amazing conversation with her as well as enjoyed the food. My tacos were super good as always and can’t wait to come back here soon!

So I had to delete my original review in order to write this one. I went for a late dinner with family. The patio was packed, so we sat at the inside bar. The bartenders were less than friendly…or at least the girl making drinks was. She didn’t even acknowledge us. A different girl came over to take our drink order. I asked for a pineapple margarita…got lime. Yuk. She eventually came back. I let her know all the margaritas tasted just like water. She did remake them…they still tasted like disappointment. The food was great! However, they really need to get it together in regards to bartenders being friendly and drinks tasting like disappointment. I’m not really sure I’d go back to this location. Do not recommend.
