Incredible Italian restaurant! Big portions and cooked to perfection. Very friendly staff and prices are reasonable. Two for one pasta on Tuesday is fantastic! Go and you’ll be glad you did. Char broiled chicken breasts on the side for just a few dollars more with the Fettuccine Alfredo is to die for!

I’ve enjoyed their pizza for 40 years now. Very good as well as other items on the menu. Seriously though carry out or delivery. The decor is the same as 40 some odd years ago, dated and dingey as can be. Service generally fine had a crabby one this past weekend when I took company from out of state. Their food is their redemption, so good!

Grew up on this pizza and it is as good as I remember. So glad to be back in the area so I can have it again. I normally pick up or get delivered. The restaurant has changed staff in the last 40 years or so and that’s about it. It’s a step back in time with the decor, this may be authentic to some, from me, it is not a huge compliment. Steve service depends on the server bus boys are very attentive, always have water. Best thing that is consistent is seeing the regulars interact and realizing that I knew some of them when I was a kid

I love the food here, especially the minestrone soup. But I haven’t been able to go to Barone’s for awhile now because they do not have a baby changing table. Last time I was there, my 8 month old stuffed her face which resulted in her having to have her diaper changed. I walked in, didn’t find a changing table and then asked the hostess if I was missing something and just didn’t see it. She said they don’t have one and that I could use the sink to change her and kind of had an attitude about it. The useable area on the sink would’ve been difficult to change a newborn, let alone an active 8 month old. She was easily able to reach up and turn the water on which made changing her even more difficult. I get that it is an older restaurant, but I have seen plenty of old restaurants with changing tables. They also have a blank wall that one would fit on if they took out the stalling that surrounds the one toilet that they have in the bathroom and just make it a single bathroom. It’s time to invest some money in a bathroom remodel and get with the times!

From a recent family gathering at this establishment it seemed as though everyone was pleased with their food. We tried the chicken Vesuvio, walleye, chicken Parm and fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken. They were packed with flavor and the quantity was bountiful. Even the tiramisu was delicious. I am looking forward to coming back when I’m in the area again.

Been frequenting the restaurant for most of my life…food is like its coming out of my grandmothers kitchen…delicious! One of the waitresses is in desperate need of retirement! Not friendly at all, forgetful and just all around not a good server. Next time im in, need to request that we are not stuck with her.

Chicken Fracaise is off the charts great! The best I have ever had at any Italian restaurant! Everything I have had here is good….but that dish is incredible. Seriously try it you will thanks me.
