Decided to try this place based on the reviews and prices (which are great and reasonable compared to other places). I ordered takeout over the phone, and the lady taking the order didn’t explain the options very well and had in fact taken my order wrong. They quickly adjusted it when my husband picked it up and didn’t charge us the difference, so I really appreciated that. I had asked for them to substitute the sauce with Alfredo sauce and the dish turned out exactly like I wanted; the dish was a little on the saltier side and the Alfredo could definitely be thicker, but the entire dish was so delicious! Generous portions I must add. The French bread could be sliced and toasted, perhaps that’s something we can request while dining in, but overall I will definitely come back to try their pizza. Tried their tiramisu also, which doesn’t contain alcohol (perfect for me!) and it was creamy and decadent. Lovely customer service!

I had heard about this wonderful place from a good friend 😉 and so we went tonight to try it and all I can say is this was the best feeling about a restaurant in many years! The staff is just a pleasure to interact with, especially our server Georgia she is such a sweet lady, and you can tell that she cares very much about the restaurant. The atmosphere is very inviting and all the staff were calm and gave the impression that it’s a well-oiled machine

The best place to host a party!! We had a baby shower here and it was absolutely wonderful. The price was excellent, the service was outstanding and the food was delicious. They were more than accommodating, even going as far to make a lactose free pizza for a guest. I highly recommend!

The food here is trash. The pizza was no tasty the dough was too thick to be thin crust. The wings didn’t have the sauce came in a packet…, like what. The mozzarella sticks were not even edible. Spent over 80 bucks for nothing and then forgot out small pizza when we picked up. Will never come back. Smh not sure how this place has 4.5stars.

We had family dinner party. Had pan pizza, regular pizza and drinks. They offered complimentary bread and special spices powder with olive oil and butter. We had a great time. Established very old. Family established.

Found Barones of Glen Ellyn via an internet search and so glad we did. Delicious authentic Italian dishes, great menu choices, large portions and wonderful family atmosphere. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. Next time we are in town we will definitely return.

Love this place. They have fantastic pizza and it’s always been consistent since I first had it 15 years ago. Until tonight. I had my rating at 5 stars and had to knock it down to 3. I ordered an 18″ party size half cheese and half pepperoni with extra cheese. The first pizza we picked up was burnt and was lacking cheese. The bottom was partially black. So I called and spoke to the manager. He fixed our credit for our order and sent out a new pizza to be delivered. The pizza came fairly quick and the driver was polite. I proceeded to check the pizza only to discover that the cheese had all slid to the middle somehow during the delivery process I I’m assuming. Picture above. I called the driver back inside to view the pizza for himself. He said that we could keep this pizza and they would remake one for the 3rd time. Now we wait after speaking with Tara, (owner) over the phone about our not so good experience this evening. Also Tara claimed the driver told her it wasn’t that bad and not to worry about it, and the driver telling us something completely different. Problem rectified but a hassle non the less. The third pizza arrived swiftly by the manager. Needless to say it’s perfect as expected. He came in to ensure of our satisfaction. Will continue my business with Barone’s in the future. Things happen.
