Reviews
The basement is a tiki themed bar often featuring karaoke. The main floor is a typical Barney’s theme with plenty of vintage decor, a good selection of draft beers and a DJ on weekends. The upstairs has at least 10 pool tables, likely more and a hidden out door patio, perfect to grab some fresh air and chat with friends.
While there are a lot of seating options, I would suggest going early to snag a table for the night.
We waited in a short line, no more than 5 minutes at 11:30pm on a Friday night. There was a $5 cover charge (can be paid cash, card or tap)
Fantastic spot to catch a game, with a tasty snack or a hearty meal. Fans of various teams come together harmoniously, creating a sociable atmosphere with many eager to strike up conversations during matches.
Music
Post-game, expect a lively mix of hip-hop and pop hits courtesy of the DJ. (Friday night)
Staff
Employees are notably friendly and engaging.
Areas for Improvement
The volume of the last call and bar close announcements is jarringly loud. Though effective, it’s a bit grating. Also, the time gap between the last calls and the bar actually closing felt short.
