Amazingly tasty thin crust pizza, and the secret is a cornmeal crust. Of course thin crust of pizzas available everywhere in the Chicago area but Barnaby’s seems to do it about the best.

The wings where really good , nice flavor and cooked just right. The pizza was so good and came out super quick. I ordered 6 pizzas and wings, and everything was fresh and hot it was around 20 mins. We got 2 pepperoni, 2 cheese, 1 sausage, and 1 Bell Buster, and every single one hit. Great quality, fast service, and definitely worth it. I’ll for sure be ordering again!

The pizza was absolutely delicious – soft crust, fresh toppings, and a perfect balance of flavors. The place itself is very cozy, with pleasant music and friendly staff that make you feel welcome. A great spot to enjoy time with friends or family. Definitely coming back!

So I used to go hear all the time with my family. We haven’t been to Barnaby’s since 2018, but we were expecting the same great pizza that we had gotten for years. Sadly they changed the recipe for the pizza crust and not only that there is a decline in quality in all of their food. If you’ve never had Barnaby’s it’s probably a 6…..maybe 7 out of 10. If you went there all the time like my family did then sadly it’s a 5 out of 10. It’s not good but it’s not bad either.

The food is the food. Not my favorite pizza, but it’s my gals favorite. The service was really good here. The man behind the bar (owner?) is a really nice and kind gentleman that helped me with a bottle of Cider from California. And if you like the 1960s atmosphere from yesteryear, this is the place.

Dark and old inside. Needs a lot of renovation. No tables (that I saw) only small booths. Went here with a large group so we all were separated. The food was mediocre at best. Pizza was bland. No amount of Parmesan, oregano, red pepper helped it. Veggies, especially the green onion didn’t taste fresh. The hot dog was Rubber. My 8 year old refused to eat it and it was returned. The only good was the decently priced draft beer which even the bartender said he wouldn’t drink the blue moon. Lol. Never need to come back here.

Barnaby’s in Arlington Heights is more than just a pizza place — it’s pure nostalgia. From the dark wood booths to the old-school order-at-the-counter setup, walking in feels like stepping back a few decades. It’s the kind of spot where families have been gathering for generations, and you can almost feel the history in the air.

The pizza itself is classic and comforting — thin crust, cut into squares, loaded with just the right amount of cheese and toppings. It’s not trying to be trendy or gourmet, and that’s exactly what makes it so good. Every bite tastes like home, like the pizza you grew up with at birthday parties, after ball games, or Friday nights out with the family.

Seems old but clean…self ordering and counter pickup can get confusing and hectic.
We had pizza, chicken wings, burger, fish sandwich, house salad and shrimp.
Seriously only get the pizza…
Worst chicken wings, over battered fish and shrimp.
Wooden booths only Seating and all the booths are verysmall and all connected in rows, tall or big people might find it tight and booths can only accommodate 4 average adults, so If you have a larger party you have to get adjoining tables and it is fixed Seating so nothing can be moved or added. If I lived nearby I would order delivery for the pizza, but leave the rest.
