The burger makes a McDouble taste gourmet. Not sure how something can be saturated in grease and still taste dry.
Over $20 for a burger & fries and I couldn’t force myself to finish it. I tried the Truffle Shuffle Burger, I can’t imagine others being any better.

The burger here is very flavorful. I had the Truffle Shuffle and enjoyed it. My friend had the Marty McFly and said it was also very flavorful. The French fries were well seasoned and tasty. We did the regular fries, but I can imagine the garlic parmesan being just as good if not better. This is a great spot for a good smash burger.

Ordered via Door Dash. Food arrived hot. They double bag it to keep it warm. Excellent strategy! The Marty Mcfly burger was much better than the Rocky Balboa. The Rocky seemed a bit thin looking at them side by side. Overall great taste and will try more of their burgers again.

LAZ Parking Garage 101 – This garage is an absolute scam. We were visiting from ATL and trying to get to Barley & Burger. The map led us straight to this address, so we pulled in—only to realize within seconds that the restaurant wasn’t there at all. We were inside the garage for less than two minutes (the timestamp on the ticket even proves it), and they still charged us $8.
It’s outrageous and honestly put a damper on the entire trip. At this point, I can’t even recommend Barley & Burger because their listed address sends people straight into this mess.

Excellent Smash Burgers. The Maverick burger is pricey but has great flavor. I noticed the bun was toasted with butter and the patties were smashed with onions. Great place to enjoy a well put together hamburger. Excellent beer selection from local breweries.

Tried Out This Place On The Opening Day Of Monarch. The Burger I Got Was Called The Marty Mcfly(House-Made Chili, Coleslaw, And Cheese). It Was A Well Put Together Burger Didn’t Really Lack In Any Places But Also Didn’t Stand Out To Much Either. Their Waffle Fries Though Were Well Seasoned And Fresh! I Also Tried Their House Made Sauce, Which Was A Tangy Flavor That Wasn’t To Bad.

This place is inside the Monarch market, it is part of a food court. I have eaten there two or three times when I am in town. The burgers are consistent, and the place has a nice atmosphere. It is also right on Tryon ST.

We got the Ghostburger. I would definitely get this again. No sides needed. Sat at the bar and paired the burger with a Sauvignon Blanc. The burger was spicy but not that hot. Nice to get a burger that is not so huge that you throw half away or finish it and regret later.
