It is a very cozy place for dogs and their owner to hang out together. The staffs are very strict in term of the rules and I really appreciate it. Everyone and every dog will feel and play safe in the off-leash areas. I also like their dog menus. Lucky loves the doggie lunch box and we all love chicken tenders and fries.

Had a great first experience at Barkhaus! Great small beer selection on tap. The Korean chicken wings were delicious and well portioned. Dogs had a great time. Only suggestion would be to add soft traction to the boxes they jump on, they are too slippery for my Collie. Only 2 parking spots at the location, so plan for that if you’re driving.

Ended up here on the tail end of trivia night (see what I did there??). All the people there were super friendly and the concept is great. Good beer on tap and non beer options in cans. Didn’t try the food. Met some great dogs!! Love love that dogs can be inside, and outside in their dog park. A visit here was just what I needed after a long day in DC for work & away from my dog!

What a great place! The staff were attentive and helpful. If it’s your first visit they will walk you through everything. I made a reservation for a few people and they reserved tables in their outdoor dining area for us. We were able to enjoy our food while watching our dogs play. Well a few of them couldn’t keep their eyes off of us while we ate as you see in the pictures but a few of our pups managed to tough it out and stayed on the dog side until we were done eating. FYI your dog can be unleashed in the enclosure but they have to be leashed in the area where people eat. Overall it was a great experience and much nicer than the traditional dog park. Definitely a great place to meet your friends with dogs and have a drink and a meal.

This place is totally awesome! We hit a lot of traffic going here but it was totally worth the drive. It was a shame the weather didn’t cooperate but the event was just as fun. The place has two designated parking spot- one of which was a disabled parking spot but there’s plenty of street parking.

My medium sized dog comes here everyday and loves it – so much that he never wants to leave. We also use their daycare services and every time, my dog is happy and is taken care of. Everyone is so nice , all the dogs get along, and other owners are responsible and respectful. Seriously a god send.

Nice place for dog owners and dog lovers. The off leash area has a nice size, someone is watching the dogs and break any attempt of a fight, and also cleaning where the dog’s pee/poop. It’s a great chance to go out, have a good beer without leaving your dog at home. The meat in the tacos and the burger need more flavor, but I guess we didn’t go for the food there 🙂 Overall, our dog enjoyed it and that’s what counts.
