When I came to this restaurant for the first time, I didn‘t expect the steak to be unexpectedly delicious. It was a good experience. The service staff was also very enthusiastic. I didn’t ignore every guest because the business was too good. It‘s great. I will come again next time.

Our family runs a beef farm in Colorado- so we don’t spend much time eating other people’s heifers. However, last night I found myself at the Bare Bones establishment and in need of repast, so I decided to give it a whirl. Was not in the mood for a large dinner so I had the 12oz filet. While they chased that down out in the corral- we got started with some onion rings that would’ve made the mayor of Vidalia proud. The serving is extry-sized.. so make sure you’re with a friend. Next had the iceberg wedge to make sure the carnivorous carnival had a brief vegetarian accomplice. Very tasty, but gotta say- chilly and put together just fine, but the Bleu cheese crumbles overpower the wedge in my opinion. Maybe the prep person just got happy with the cheese setup, but the lettuce got lost in the flavor hustle. Next up was the 12oz filet served up medium. Cooked perfect and butter soft. Found myself in a state of melancholy munching as I got toward the end of this petite piece o meat. Every bite I was cutting smaller and smaller just so I could savor the taste of this piece of beef. Really unusual for beef east of the mighty Mississippi. Honest- great steak! Had the sticky toffee cake for dessert. Seriously yummy here. Big enough for 2 friendly people. Nice warm cake underneath ice cream. Only thing I found that I might add to this dish would be a dash of crispy toffee chips on top. Otherwise a worthy conclusion to a great meal. Place was so busy we had to eat at the bar. Destiny took care of us and about 100 other people all at the same time. Best to give her a raise! Bravo!

Phenomenal! My husband and I are there last night in celebration of our 36th wedding anniversary! Had filet mignons, garlic mashed potatoes, fried okra, and flourless brownie for dessert. Excellent all around. Service was superb, too! We will be back! Highly recommend!

My husband and I were invited to dinner by my best friend and her husband to celebrate the completion of my book, and it was such a special evening. This was my second time dining here, and I can confidently say the food has been consistently outstanding.
I ordered the filet mignon cooked medium rare, and it was absolutely perfect — tender, flavorful, and cooked exactly the way I like it. We also shared the fried mushrooms and cauliflower, along with the crab cakes, and everything was delicious. The wine selection was fantastic and paired beautifully with our meal.
What truly made the night exceptional, though, was our server. Unfortunately, we can’t remember his name — it started with an “F” and I believe ended with an “D” — but he was incredible. Maybe Farbod. Attentive without being intrusive, warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. He elevated the entire experience.
We are so grateful for such a wonderful evening and hope this review finds its way to him so he knows how much we appreciated his service. We will absolutely be back!

I really enjoyed dining here. The service was excellent and very professional. There were plenty of great seating options to choose from. The food was good but not great. I had the shrimp and grits. The onion ring appetizer was huge and delicious. Portion sizes were nice. Overall, I’d return for another visit.

Celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary here. Food was delicious and steak was cooked to perfection. Ordered the Buddy’s special it was a 16oz new york strip and it came with 2 sides. Everything was well seasoned and came out pretty quickly. I will say most things are al a carte but prices are not bad for a steakhouse. They even gave us a complementary dessert for celebrating our anniversary there. We will definitely be back.

I have a new go-to for special occasions. Just wow. I was lucky enough to try multiple starters, sides, and the tomahawk. My god, the tomahawk. Most tender steak i have ever had in my life. Perfection in temperature, texture, taste and presentation. Everything was incredible, truly. Additionally, I cannot say enough kind things about our server Conner who was equal parts professional and friendly. Our family of 5 had a wonderful experience dining at Bare Bones this evening! We were seated promptly at a lovely table overlooking Main Street in a beautiful brick room with chandeliers. Our server, Olivia, was pleasant and attentive. Our starters arrived quickly and were delicious with generous portions and our mains were fantastic – everything served as ordered and cooked perfectly. Again, Olivia was excellent and we truly appreciated her superb service! We have dined here before and have always been pleased!
