I had dinner at the bar, and it was just what i was craving! The bolognese was delicious, and I really enjoyed the gin cocktail on the menu. The chocolate hazelnut cake was nice and light, perfectly capping off my meal. Special thanks to Gipsy at the bar for her excellent service, I really appreciated it! Thanks for the great evening 🙂

Everything we had was so so good! Great service, really great spot near the water, and the food was truly excellent. Highly recommend the kale salad and all the pasta dishes pictured above!

Took advantage of a midweek break to lunch at Barbuto. Been meaning to visit ever since they reopened. The industrial room was bustling but lacked the warmth of the old space. That didn’t stop us from enjoying our pastas and risotto. All were comforting on unseasonable cold day.

Always a favorite! The carbonara is just as amazing as at the old location, but be warned it’s a huge portion. The salads are really good. The staff is always helpful and professional. One of the best restaurants in the neighborhood for lunch, dinner, or drinks.

Big room across from Little Island, been wanting to try it for a while. Pleasant experience. Pizza was tasty, bruschetta too. We all had pastas, menu was quite limited, if I’m not mistaken there were only three pastas available, gnocchi, rigatoni with guanciale (thick bacon) and a linguine with shrimp and jalapeños in an olive oil. There was something a little odd about how the pastas were served, quite uneven portions. There were six of us, I think I would like to try it as a couple for a better evaluation. Service was good and food was flavorful.

Really excellent dinner spot with a bit of a neighborhood feel to it. Sadly did not have a chance to visit the old location, but by all accounts the food here is up to par.

Really nice to have around the corner. Twice they have accommodated me on a weekend evening walk in. The food is always good, the bread (which is suppose is also food) maybe even better. The people are nice, the vibes are relaxed. I like to go with a book, enjoy a mean and some reading, and the joys of dining alone.

Was a bit worried after reading some recent less than favorable reviews, but the three of us loved our food. Kale Salad, calamari salad (one was dressed quite a bit more than the other, focaccia & breadsticks, jw potatoes, jw gnocchi (served with corn, tomatoes & basil) and sea bass. Also loved the phony Negroni. While the food was delicious the atmosphere not so much very dark and so loud it was hard to carry on a conversation. Seemed quieter closer to the kitchen or will ask for an outdoor table, weather permitting.

So delicious! No wonder everyone raves about Barbuto. The chicken is what draws people in but my party didn’t even order it. Don’t sleep on the fried calamari salad, fettuccine fra diavlo, and the hazelnut praline cheesecake. All dishes were great but those were out of this world. Great service and hospitality. Would love to go back.
