My boyfriend and I stopped in for breakfast on the way back to NC this morning after looking for a local place to try. We were immediately greeted, seated, and brought our drinks. Our food was amazing! I had the State Line Mess which I highly recommend. The biscuits and gravy are also a must. Everyone who came in seemed to know each other and the staff was so beyond friendly. We will definitely be back when traveling to Steubenville, Ohio to visit family.

Went on a Sunday like the wife and I usually do EVERY Sunday. Noticed that quality has been going down a good bit at this establishment. 2 Sundays ago we found out that “If you order hash browns the owner will refuse to make them because she burns them.” Which was nice of the waitress to mention this before ordering but still it’s the concept. Last week, service was able to keep up. This week we notice a party of 6 in the back room. We sat for 20 mins before one of the waitresses comes up to tell us that they are not taking anymore orders and the restaurant doesn’t close until 2pm. Being a regular customer every Sunday. Trying to support the small businesses in the area is a goal. How are you supposed to do so when your business gets turned away? Will not be visiting for a while.

My lovely bride and I dine this evening at Barb’s Stateline Restaurant. The food, service, and atmosphere were wonderful. Betty had the reuben sandwich and really enjoyed it. I had chicken tenders with apple sauce and they were amazing. The tenders came out hot and the chicken was delicious. Hope took excellent care of us this evening. She was very efficient, kind, and courteous. We will definitely return to Barb’s Stateline Restaurant! Please enjoy the photos of the restaurant’s menu.
