Lesson learned, call to reserve a table ahead of time for this place, because it was packed by 5:30pm on a Friday and I was shocked to hear that the wait was 2 hours! Thank goodness for barNorth next door that my friend and I could sit at the bar and have a quick bite. We weren’t rushed, but I definitely felt the need to be decisive and order as quickly as possible. Also, Jump Start has become my favorite non-alcoholic drink for the year! There was the right amount of bitterness and sweetness in it and I was not on caffeine high after. We were only there for some light bites, so we split between a salad and some meatballs. The meatballs were HUGE and so tender! I could eat them all on my own haha!! I’m already thinking about coming back to try the bottle & board next time!

Went to North Italia for dinner with my wife. Not our first time but food & service are always consistent which is great because both are great!
Atmosphere was nice & sitting outside in the bar area was pleasant as well.
Our server was really nice & attentive.
We got the meatball pizza & the Italian salad with grilled chicken as well as the fried calamari for appetizer – all delicious!

The $40 charcuterie board was heavy on the bread and light everything else. Tasty, but I thought maybe less bread, more cheeses and meats and olives. Calamari was very good. Fried zucchini I thought should be larger pieces as the bowl of micro chips is not really sharable with so many fingers in it.
Bartender is pleasant but not exciting. The restaurant is odd that it is split in half with the kitchen in the middle and the restrooms outside. The food is good, the place is alright, but you leave feeling like it’s not memorable.

The Italian food and bar north is unbelievable!
As a pilot, I tend to eat at restaurants on a daily basis from New York to LA or Seattle to Orlando and we try to find something new every time we get out for a meal.
If you’re looking for Italian food with a laid-back, yet, modern upbeat, feel than you should go no further than Bar NoRTH.
I had meatballs as an appetizer, and they were amazing better than I expected. The blending of the seasoning and whatever their process is to make them they were perfect.
I then had spaghetti and meatballs, and that was a real treat. I also ordered the Bolognese sauce and simply enjoyed every bit of it.
On the to go side of things for the next days meal I ordered a pepperoni and sausage pizza, which was absolutely out of the park and there is a lot of pizza competition in Scottsdale. This was good pizza well worth your time.
So if you really want some good Italian with some good variety, come here, take my word for it yes. It is good you will not be disappointed.

Brunch with a kick. Tried the Breakfast Carbonara Pasta. The spicy oil drizzle on the pasta was an interesting surprise. Overall, I enjoyed the pasta with a kick. The ice green tea was refreshing and the service was excellent.

North Italia never disappoints, this was my first time to Bar North. They both share the same excellent menu & relaxed atmosphere. There’s a TV here too if you want to catch a game over drinks or dinner (we watched the D-Backs).

When we arrived at Bar NoRTH we were not aware it was associated with the restaurant next door. We entered into the bar and were rudely greeted by another server who told us this isn’t where you’re supposed to go. Someone else eventually escorted us to the restaurant side and our pleasant experience began.
The food was excellent! I enjoyed the prosciutto fig pizza and my husband enjoyed the hand crafted pasta! We’ll be back and be sure to enter through the main restaurant!

Love it. Bar North less noisy than main restaurant. Same great food, service and cocktail as last time. I didn’t realize how big the actual restaurant and patio is in reality. Could be a great venue for a large gathering too. Very impressed by Waiter this time. So happy we came back twice in one week after a 10 year hiatus.
