We had a great experience at Bar Julia. We ordered salads and they were absolutely delicious, fresh and full of flavor. The mezcal cocktail was spectacular, and the non-alcoholic drink was just as impressive.
We sat at the bar, and our bartender provided excellent service along with amazing cocktails. Overall, a fantastic spot with great drinks and a wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Bar Julian is hands down one of my favorite spots in Savannah. I absolutely love this place—the atmosphere is super nice and the views are incredible. From up top, you can see all of Savannah, and it really makes the experience feel special. The food is always amazing, and the cocktails are some of the best I’ve had anywhere. I love that they constantly update their cocktail menu—it keeps things exciting, and I’ve had some truly fantastic drinks here.
The vibe honestly reminds me of a rooftop bar in NYC, but with that Savannah charm and stunning skyline. Whether you’re looking for a night out with friends, a date spot, or just a place to enjoy good food and drinks with an unbeatable view, Bar Julian never disappoints.

We walked down here from river walk. With a little bit of a hike, but we had other stops on the way. So glad we went. It was decorated for Christmas and absolutely adorable! Bartender was friendly. Other patrons at the bar were also friendly, loved the specialty drinks! I want to go back and check out their other themes. Beautiful view. Also I hear the sunsets are just perfect there. I’ll go back!

Stunning spot, but the service needs to catch up.
I wanted to love this place.
The vibe is fantastic, and the wine, cocktail, and food menus are all on point. However, service is what truly makes or breaks an experience, and unfortunately, ours fell short. We found the service to be consistently unattentive; we only received help when we actively waved our hands to flag down a waitress.
This spot has so much potential, but for a place with such a high-end vibe, the hospitality should be much better.
I hope the team reads this and makes improvements.

This is a popular place amongst locals and not just those staying at the Thompson Hyatt. I was unable to dine Saturday night (really busy), but was able to make breakfast and I am so glad that I did!!! The sourdough bread is the best I have ever had! All bakery is made fresh, in house ❤️ NOW THAT’S TOP TIER!
P.S. Latte photographed for aesthetics. I would not recommend for coffee snobs like myself.
P.P.S. Order sour dough bread!
Service: Sweethearts!
Ambiance: River view

I had such a lovely experience at bar Julian for the first time. I went around lunchtime to do some work on my computer and had the privilege of being helped by Sydney. Helpful, quick, personable. I’ll be back to see Sydney for exceptional customer service.

Bar Julian is an amazing restaurant with great staff. I died during their brunch hours and they had a great amount of food that catered to different types of cuisines! I would definitely recommend coming back

Food is mediocre at best, which can be endured for the sake of convenience since this is inside the hotel. What is unbearable is the extremely long wait time and unsanitary conditions. First day there we ordered room service, waited over an hour, and never got our food – eventually we had to pick it up ourselves. Second day wait time for breakfast was 1 hour for a table and another half for food. The floors are crunch-under-your-foot dirty, and servers were still wiping crumbs onto the floor. To be fair this was during a major holiday, and the place could have been understaffed for this particular day. Would not recommend.

Stopped by this bar with a few colleagues midday. The atmosphere was okay—nothing special, but decent for a casual outing. I tried a cocktail, but it didn’t quite hit the mark. It was just okay, not as flavorful or well-crafted as I expected.
One of my colleagues had the cheeseburger, which unfortunately wasn’t good—he thought the meat might have been off. Thankfully, the staff handled it well and refunded him without any hassle. I ordered the whipped feta with flatbread, and that was actually really good. Creamy, flavorful, and nicely presented.
Overall, the experience was mixed. Some highlights, but definitely room for improvement, especially with the food and drinks.
