We celebrated my wife’s birthday at Elena’s Philoxenia while traveling through Portland. It was near our hotel and ended up being the perfect place. The food was authentic and delicious. Everything made to order and fresh and perfect flavors. Great job!

Have had good dining experiences in the past, but my most recent visit waited close to 1.5 hours before the main course came out. Some of the main courses were fairly bland this time as well. Still a pleasant atmosphere though.

Friendly service, although they were sitting walk-ins before us ( we had a reservation). When my friend pointed that out, we did get multiple apologies. The food is well priced, and the atmosphere is cozy. Both of us had a good time.

A truly well kept neighborhood secret. Very unassuming and small from the street, but inside its very spacious and stylish. The service was subtle and efficient and the food was tasty and filling, especially given the very reasonable prices.

Perfect dinner on a slow Sunday evening. Christina and Adam took care of us and treated my wifey like the queen she is. I had the Greek version of spaghetti Bolognese while wifey had a scrumptious lamb with orzo experience that was mouthwateringly superb. Recommended!
