This is one of my favorite go-to spots. The drinks are always solid. The food is good and they have some of the best bartenders in town! If you’re out and about in Northwest, check it out. They have a great side patio where you can have an intimate conversation or hang out with a bunch of friends. It can be a little pricey but it’s well worth it!

There’s something so conversational about this place, maybe it’s the friendly people that gravitate towards the bar? The service is welcoming from the moment you walk in, and you’ll be hard pressed to find french fries as deliciously crispy in the area. Too many places embrace the thick cut steak fry, or miss the mark with a soggy crinkle – these though are perfectly fried, and if you think one plate is enough for two people drinking, well… you might just lose that friendship over sliced potatoes.

12/25/19: Dropped in on Christmas night. Really great food menu options. We ordered the brussel sprouts, burger w/arugula salad, and Mac and cheese. Everything tasted great. Mac and cheese was a bit too rich for my tummy but it had good flavor. Arugula salad was huge! Brussel sprouts were nicely fried. The burger was classic, just your basic burger that’s satisfying.

Great little gem of a place. My husband and I came in late on our anniversary and found kind staff, a relaxed vibe, great drinks, and STELLAR food. We ordered the fried cauliflower (perfectly balanced with capers) and the potato gnocchi and grilled chicken: I had never had chicken that fell apart like that before. Perfectly balanced flavors and textures. We’ll definitely be back. Oh, and those fireplaces are rad as well.
