If you’re looking for a breakfast spot that delivers both comfort and flavor, Banner’s is a place you don’t want to miss. From the moment I walked in, the cozy atmosphere and welcoming service set the tone for an excellent meal. The menu had plenty of tempting choices, but I went with their Irish Eggs Benedict, a fresh glass of orange juice, and a waffle on the side—and it turned out to be one of the best breakfast decisions I’ve made in a long time.
The Irish Eggs Benedict was absolutely outstanding. Perfectly poached eggs sat on top of hearty corned beef and toasted English muffins, smothered with a rich and velvety hollandaise sauce. The balance of flavors was spot-on—the savory corned beef paired beautifully with the creamy sauce and runny yolks, making each bite comforting yet indulgent. It’s a dish that truly stands out from the usual Benedict options you see elsewhere.
To complement the meal, I had a fresh-squeezed orange juice, which was crisp, refreshing, and full of natural sweetness. It’s the kind of detail that really makes a difference—you could taste that it wasn’t just poured from a carton.
And then there was the waffle—fluffy on the inside, golden and slightly crisp on the outside. It was served warm and was absolutely delicious, the perfect mix of texture and flavor. Whether you enjoy it plain, with butter and syrup, or topped with fruit, it’s the kind of waffle that makes you want to order a second one to go.
Overall, Banner’s exceeded my expectations. The food was fresh, flavorful, and prepared with care. It’s the kind of spot that reminds you how great breakfast can be, and I’ll definitely be coming back.

Pretty good breakfast spot over all! I love how they offer fresh squeezed orange juice but I wish they put it over ice as it was a bit on the warm side. The toast was a bit too burnt for my liking and the homefries could have been cooked a tad more. The butter that they top on the French toast had a sweet taste to it that went perfectly together with the meal. The Belgian waffle was delicious as well!

Five stars all around. Our server and our hostess did an amazing job. Our host is greeted us with a smile. Smiling staff members seems to be a thing of the past. Most restaurants you get greeted by a teenager who a moment ago was playing on their phone. Not this place. Our hostess greeted us with a smile and our waitress smile every time she came to our table. She was very attentive. I think in the short time we were there she visited our table about seven to eight times. We never lacked anything. The orange juice that they served which is freshly squeezed was the best orange juice I have ever had in my 43 years of life. I ordered the Kentucky Benedict which is like eggs benedict but with a sausage patty and instead of hollandaise sauce it’s covered with sausage gravy. It was excellent. My wife got an omelet with veggies in it and she said it was absolutely delicious. The vegetables were not soggy and we’re not too crunchy but we’re perfectly cooked. If we lived local this would not only be a place we would visit again but it would probably be our everyday breakfast place.

Had no idea what we were in for. So glad we stopped on our way home from Storyland. Sara rhe hostess let us wait in the car instead of crowding while waiting. She called us on the phone when they were ready for us. Darlene our server was wonderful, explaining any questions we had. She made one a special order without questions. We would go here again when we are in that area.

Everything about this place was great. Even the owner was refilling coffee, clearing tables, and greeting guests. Runs like a well oiled machine. I had lobster Benedict and hubby had Monte Cristo with a grilled blueberry muffin

Since we had our dog, the restaurant was kind enough to let us sit on the picnic table outside and order takeout, which was delicious. I got a corned beef sandwich with fries and loved it! Great experience.

Wonderful modern interiors with vintage touches. We had our meal at the covered patio area. So beautiful with flowers, cool breeze warm sun. We had Florentine Benedict and Hikers Breakfast with banana waffles, coffees and freshly squeezed orange juice. Fluffy delicious waffles with just the right banana and cream and maple syrup. Juice was perfect. Attentive and friendly service too 🙂 perfect diner experience

The food felt a bit underwhelming, but it definitely has potential to be insanely good. You can tell during cooking when seasoning is lacking, and in this case the salt was used far too sparingly. Adding it at the end just doesn’t bring out the same flavor. I enjoyed the Irish Benedict with more salt and my husband enjoyed their award winning Monte Cristo, which is much like a croque monsieur or grilled cheese with ham. $3 coffee with free refills was definitely the highlight.

The place was busy at 8:30am on a Sunday but we were sorted promptly and greeted by the waitress right away. We got a freshly squeezed orange juice and coffee and the Irish Benedict and Monte cristo sandwich. Both were delicious.
