I’m not much of a sandwich person I’m more of a rice bowl type. But a Banh Mi sandwich satisfies my tummy. I ordered the Chicken and the BBQ pork Banh Mi. It’s not just what’s inside the sandwich but it’s the bread itself. It is crispy when you bite into it but nice and warm inside.

I don’t really like pickled anything but the veggies they add in the sandwich I believe is pickled and I love it. It just goes with the meat in the sandwich.

When we came we dined in. There’s only a few tables inside. It wasn’t busy so our food came in less than 10 minutes. There’s plenty of parking spots as this is located in a shopping center.

The price is standard for the size of the sandwich. It’s actually a good size. Oh by the way they don’t just have sandwiches they also have Poke Bowls …etc.

I had to leave a review because this place snapped. The bò né came out sizzling hot with perfectly runny eggs, tender beef, fresh veggies, and a side of warm, crispy bread that was unreal. Every bite felt like comfort food done right. Super flavorful, super fresh, and honestly one of the best breakfast plates I’ve had in a long time.

If you want something that hits the spot and looks just as good as it tastes, this is the place. Highly recommend!

Best Banh mi ever. The service was fast. Other food was good too. There is a parking lot behind the building in case you cannot find parking. They open everyday. After couple months, I finally came again and they are still as good as before.

Love this spot! The banh mi sandwiches are fresh with perfectly crispy bread and flavorful meats. The poke bowls are also a great option with generous portions and tasty toppings. Everything tastes fresh and well made. Definitely a solid go-to for Vietnamese food in the area. ❤️❤️❤️

BANH MI EXPRESS is a must-visit spot for anyone craving an authentic and delicious Vietnamese sandwich experience. Located in the heart of the city, this casual eatery has earned a reputation for serving some of the best bánh mì in town. The sandwiches are packed with fresh, flavorful ingredients, from the perfectly crispy baguette to the savory meats like grilled pork, chicken, and even tofu for a vegetarian option.

One of the highlights of BANH MI EXPRESS is the balance of textures and flavors — crunchy pickled vegetables, fresh cilantro, and a kick of spicy chili sauce all come together in each bite. The meats are well-seasoned and juicy, making each sandwich satisfying and filling.

The service is quick and friendly, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of food you get. If you’re a fan of Vietnamese cuisine or just looking for a tasty lunch, BANH MI EXPRESS is a top choice!

Food was burnt and overcooked, too hard to eat, the sandwich bread was stale on the ends and inedible. Waste of money. The musubi was good. For a good sandwich go to Da Nang instead.

I was looking for boba but then I saw they had these cute Labubu desserts! I chose these as an add on to my brown sugar milk and they were so good I bought a whole tray for my whole family to try!! They were so delicious

Still waiting for my food (it’s been 20 mins with 2 other customers in here so basically dead) so couldn’t rate it yet, but everything else blows. The workers seem unhappy, the place smells like bathroom and they are now going on 20 mins to make 2 sandwiches. To top it off they are called Banh Mi Express. Should be called Banh Mi Slow as Balls

UPDATE: finally tried the Banh Mi and I have to say I was VERY impressed. I could say it was one of the best Banh Mi I’ve had in my life. I updated my review from 1 star to 3 stars solely based on the quality of the sandwich. This place could be a 5 star if they worked on all of the things that I previously mentioned. Will only go back for orders placed to go and ahead of time. Definitely an emotional rollercoaster.

Poke bowls are good but they definitely skimp out on the proteins and other more “premium” toppings, avocado is an extra $2 for a quarter of an avocado which feels kind of ridiculous. Their $10 minimum on cards is also very unforgiving considering if you wanted to pop in for something like Spam Musubi it’s only $6.50 meaning you have to buy at least 2.

Disappointing Dining Experience with Unfriendly Staff

Rating: ★☆☆☆☆

I recently ordered a large poke bowl from this restaurant, expecting a satisfying meal. Unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. Firstly, they required me to fill out a detailed paper specifying my preferences, but failed to mention that the sauce would be tossed in with everything. The lack of clarity in their explanation was frustrating. Moreover, the workers exhibited unfriendly and unhelpful attitudes, solely concerned with taking orders without providing any useful information.

To make matters worse, the poke bowl itself was mediocre, and the portion size was notably small for the price of $17. Considering other specialized poke bowl places that offer a much larger bowl with ample veggies and rice at the same price, this was a terrible value. When I inquired about the sauce, the staff informed me that it was already included, and they wanted to charge an extra $2 for additional sauce on the side.

In addition to the disappointing poke bowl, I ordered a bahn-mi grilled pork sandwich, which turned out to be equally unsatisfactory. The bread was noticeably stale and hard, as if it had been sitting around for at least four days. Despite the tasty pork filling, the sandwich’s small size and the bread’s flakiness made it difficult to eat. A dining experience that should have been enjoyable turned into a messy and unpleasant ordeal.

Attached are pictures showcasing the quality and size issues of the food. Spending close to $30, I expected better value and a more generous portion, rather than being charged extra for sauce that was never clarified to be included. The staff’s response, insisting that a manager would call me back, was unhelpful and just added to the frustration.

Based on this disappointing encounter with both the food quality and service, I have no intention of returning to this restaurant. I urge potential customers to take their business elsewhere as there are numerous establishments that offer better value, superior food quality, and friendlier service.
