I have eaten here for years but moved away from the area. I tried it yesterday for the first time in years, got 2 sandwiches the Bobbie and the tuna. Both me and my girlfriend got very sick after ingesting. Extreme nausea, 2 different people maybe 30min after eating the food, 2 different sandwiches. Seems like the food was the issue, we did not eat or drink anything else besides the sandwiches. Eventually got better after a couple of hours but a sandwich shouldn’t make you feel that way!

*Edited: 5/2024. Zero stars again. Thought I would give them another try and again I have a bread and lettuce sandwich. Where’s the meat? Save your money, go to Marrones Deli! Way better food and prices!!!!!

I did call and the supervisor said they would refund me for the sandwich. Iunfortunately, they ruined the craving for a sub. Won’t eat here again

UPDATE: Went there today for the first time in several months. Forgot tomatoes on both sandwiches, and mumbly girl behind the counter had no personality, so I’m sad to report, they STILL suck!
UPDATE: Well they FINALLY got my order right, just didn’t give me the correct change back. ♂️
UPDATE: Been back there 3x since I left this review and there’s still been something wrong with each order.
Almost NEVER get my order right! At least 4x I’ve had to spend time and gas because they screwed something up on my order! I don’t know how much slower and clearer I can be when placing my order on the phone.
They need to either train their employees better to pay more attention or hire all adults. Twice now I could have ripped them off, had I not been an honest person cause these goofs don’t even seem to know how to work a cash register.
One week a guy gave me TOO MUCH change back, and just today a guy didn’t even see my chips and drink right there on the counter whe ringing me up.
Also I arrived in 20 minutes after placing my order, when they said it would be ready, and still had to wait because the fries were never put in, and didn’t get an apology.
Then I didn’t realize til hours after the fact when I looked at the receipt, I wasn’t even charged for the grilled cheese!

Haven’t been here in a long time. Used to go to the one in Peoples Plaza all the time in Delaware. Then they went down hill and I never went back (vegetables never fresh). After moving away from DE and my favorite sub shops like Malin’s and Jersey Mike’s. I tried every place around here and they all are terrible. So today I tried to give Caps a try and WOW! A fresh perfectly made sub that tasted as good as it looked. Thank you! I have yet to try Earl’s thats next!

So not impressed!! I dont usaully write reviews and hate complaining but i had to say something. My wife and I really enjoy a Capriotti’s sandwiches. We travel all over the country on business so we try them every chance we get. We don’t mind spending our hard earned money for great food but we tried Capriotti’s in West Grove on Baltimore Pike in pa. The first sign should have been no one in the place at the peek of lunch time not a red flag but a sign! The second sign was our chicken cheese steaks wrapped and handed to us was the size of the cardboard tube left over after using up all the paper towels big red flag. We thought it was the end of it but not to our surprise the order was wrong dispite the fact that the nicest young man read the right order back to us as he handed us our sandwiches. This place is single handly the worse Capriotti’s we’ve ever been to. I’m hoping it doesn’t ruin it for ppl that haven’t tried Capriotti’s yet and hopefully they dont go to the West Grove location. I’m sure the Capriotti’s at 827 west Baltimore pike will be happy to not see us again and the feeling is mutual. To management get ppl that take pride in what they do or hire someone that will make sure ur eatery is being ran properly. The Capriottis standard is not being practiced at this locate for sure.

I ordered a cheesesteak sandwich it was just not a good sandwich at all. I felt the portion sizes were kind of small for the price and it just didn’t taste well. It was kind of Millie if you can put that to words where I actually ate about half of it, and I just tossed the rest of the other half which is really unusual for me, the lady making it was fantastic but you know the kid at the cash register Was visibly agitated that had to pay my bill like I took him away from something in the back that was more important than paying the bill but I’ll never come back to this place again matter fact, I don’t think I ever go to another Capriotti again,

Ordered 3 cheesesteaks and 2 out of three were burnt to a crisp. Tried to call them about it but kept getting a busy signal. Drove down the store just before closing and the door was locked. They try to ignore my presence but I kept knocking on the window until they came to the door. Showed them the Cheesesteaks. They did not even argue but told me they could reimburse me since I used DoorDash to order them on line. By the way, I also saw a dog walking around the restaurant which I am pretty sure is a health code violation. I will never go back there again.

Sandwiches always good. Service SO SLOW. placed an order online, took forever, the girl had to track it down, since they couldn’t find it, and it was still missing a sandwich. No urgency. She meandered around trying to figure it out. I waited 10 more minutes, told them again I was picking up. The kid then says to another young forgot the hot Bobbie. Overall, waited half an hour for 4 sandwiches. Was late getting to where I had to go, even tho I placed the order with ample time.
