OMG, the jerk chicken was fantastic! it was well seasoned and grilled to perfection. Very athletic. Mostly order to go. Small dine in area with a club bar area in the back. The place sits on the corner in a neighborhood next to an auto repair shop. Parking is not the best but the crew is very friendly, very helpful and very passionate about their food!

My favorite restaurant! I love the curry chicken and I could eat it daily. The ladies at the counter are always so nice too which is an added bonus. Every time I walk in, they already know what I’m ordering so it’s always a quick and easy process. I’ve tried curry chicken from nearly everywhere, and I haven’t found any as seasoned and high quality as theirs. The food is always fresh so you have to get there before they run out.

This is to go place if you are looking for genuine and authentic Jamaican food I would say. It’s been long time I get to try Jamaican food it’s really worth the every penny I spent. I surprisingly like the attitude and very friendly gesture of the restaurant owner ( I hope so ) who served the food. I ordered curry goat . That meets above and beyond my expectations.

The absolute worst customer service in Jacksonville! Period! Don’t even waste your time, much less your money. I gave them another shot today after my first experience with them was negative.. poor customer service over the phone. I never got to even place an order the first time because the young lady was acting “ignorant” to put it lightly. Ordered a curry shrimp with steamed rice and Mac n Cheese. (Mind you, Curry Shrimp is on their menu.. but apparently they have problems cooking it for patrons) Anyways, The young lady, who answered the phone, asked me was I coming now or waiting.She verified that I was coming and fully took my order! I said I’m coming now. She gave me the total, around $23 or so. I get all the way over there, after giving them time to prepare it, since it’s “cooked to order” . you guessed right. They hadn’t prepared anything! Balla you guys blew it again! No apologies, a customer just drove all the way to pick up their food, zero. I don’t care what the other reviews say.. see for yourself, once you get there! If you want ghetto and nonchalant service , they’re on the top tier! Of course, you’ll see the “blatant lies” from their response to this post…, too late for damage control.

Not much to look at but don’t judge the place based on that. Try the food. It is amazing! My wife had the ox tail, I had stewed beef and our son had the curry chicken. Everybody loved their food. Very friendly staff.

Get here as soon as possible, the food was simply outstanding and worth the price. Fall off the bone Oxtails, tender cabbage, homemade drinks. There are places that promote good, and are not. This place is that place.
