BRAND NEW restaurant opening July 2022 on Greenwood Lake in West Milford County, NJ. Executive Chef/Owner Baldassare is Sicilian, but also grew up working in a family restaurant located in Liguria, Italy (Northern Italy). He attended and graduated from culinary school in Casino of Menton (South France) from 13 years old to 18 years old. The menu will be Italian cuisine with classic dishes from Southern and Northern Italy, freshly made pastas and thin crust traditional style pizza inspired by a famous Italian pizza chef. As for the bar, we will have a rather large selection of Italian, French and California wines. In addition, our craft cocktail program will feature delicious drinks with hand picked spirits and well paired ingredients.

5 stars! The food and service are consistently FANTASTIC! My family and I come here often and it is always delicious and fresh. The calamari is always cooked to perfection and we recently tried the scallop skewers which were divine. The large pizza for take out will feed your family for days or your entire party. It’s ginormous. We love to get the margherita pie. The atmosphere is also quite nice!

First time visit. Not a good experience. Walked in, and you can smell the smoke embedded in the ceiling (not sure what this place used to be). After being seated we waited almost 25 minutes for anyone to take our drink order (we did get water) but actual drinks took forever. Decided to skip appetizers because we all knew it would take an eternity. Ordered our meals, pizzas came out (with the exception of my daughter’s which came maybe 35 minutes later after we all finished eating)… food was excellent though, I’ll give them that. But, they need more of an experienced staff. Chances are we will not be going back. Wish them all the best.

I went to Baldo Bistro tonight and it was amazing. We came in with a birthday party of 10 and they accommodated us for everything: Everything was timed beautifully. The drinks were great! The food was great! The lasagna with veal was an 11/10. Out birthday girl could not have had better time. Our waitress Sue was great and we truly had a great experience!

My boyfriend & I love Baldo Bistro. The bartender, Brenda is so friendly and attentive, and makes fantastic drinks, especially the Moscow Mule! The food never disappoints, and the atmosphere is always warm & inviting. Highly recommend trying one of their pizzas, as well as the burrata ravioli, eggplant rollatini, and meatball app! The lasagna & bolognese were also great options. Looking forward to our next visit!

Happy to say that the food was very good. My mom and I had creamy cauliflower soup, two different pizzas, and the Caesar salad. My mom was raving. The service was meh considering we were one of two parties there. And the ambiance is okay. I can see the effort to renovate and decorate which I appreciate but I felt like the windows along the side need some work. I’ll be happy to go back but just wish they could do something about the windows/view. I think I’d feel less claustrophobic.

If zero was available I’d give it no stars tried 4 different times to give them the benefit of the doubt but nope. Actually told us after waiting well over an hour that a member of our party that they didn’t have his meal so he was served nothing, took over 45 minutes to get bread ,dry cold and without butter Save your self the worse experience ever what a waste of $100 3 people 2 drinks each and only two out of 3 ordered meals. Wish I gave the money to charity at least then it wouldn’t have been a total waste of time and money and a disaster of an evening.
