Bake Me Treats is the dream of Gabriele Barnhizer who went to culinary school for baking and pastry and gathered baking experience before opening BMT in 2015. Gabriele fell in love with baking while in grade school and dreamed of opening a bakery in her home town of Poland, OH where BMT is now located. Bake Me Treats is a retail bakery that specializes in French macarons and is the first and only bakery in Youngstown that bakes and sells this popular French cookie. At BMT, the case is filled with over 15 different macaron flavors. From Funfetti to Lavender to Blueberry Muffin, there is bound to be a flavor for everyone. Coming up with and experimenting with new fun flavors is still Gabriele’s favorite part of her job.

Over the last few years I always come here to buy macaroons and they were always so delicious. This year I decided to buy my mom a birthday cake from them and it was so delicious and not overpowered with sugar it was the perfect amount of sugar. I highly recommend getting a cake from here. Wow fantastic product! The app is adorable and the owner is extremely friendly and personable. I tried macarons and cupcakes, and think both are with every penny. And both refrigerate extremely well.
The macarons are jam-packed with flavor! Whatever flavor you choose, you will be blown away. Lavender was packed with flavor, as was the rose. The asked caramel actually has gooey caramel filling!
The cupcake icing/frosting is impeccable. It’s smooth and creamy, not too sweet, and very flavorful.
The only thing i didn’t like we the cupcake box. I think it’s a bit too large for the cupcakes. But everything else is epic!

Bake Me Treats is amazingly delicious. The price is very reasonable and the cake isn’t overpoweringly sweet. You can actually eat the icing on the cake without getting sweeted out.

Bake Me Treats made the cake for our wedding in May 2022 and it was perfect! I waited to book a bakery until fairly late in the wedding planning process (we booked in March for a May wedding), but Bake Me Treats was still available and able to offer delivery as well.
The cake was delicious and also beautiful! We aren’t sure if we’ll be able to save the top tier for our one year anniversary because we might not want to wait that long to eat it! Gabriele delivered the cake right on schedule, it looked beautiful, and it tasted great! I would definitely recommend Bake Me Treats for wedding cake.

Went to the Watermelon Sugar High fest today. It was really fun. I had never been to Bake Me Treats before and was excited to try their baked goods. We did the coloring sheet, and we were able to get a free cupcake! It was absolutely delicious, and im excited to go back and try other things as well! Thank you for such a fun day.

Such great service from sales associate Kelly. Owner was so nice to let us come and hang out and look at all the yummy pasties. Macarons, brownies, and cookies galore. Shop was cute and bakery was very clean. Highly recommend try if you are in Poland, Ohio. Service was prompt, efficient, and kind. 5 stars for Kelly. Give her a raise, she deserves it!
