first meal of the day. Was hungry
Ordered Spicy Seafood Pasta and iced macha, Spicy seafood Pasta portion was large, I ate seafood first, so I can eat all the seafood before getting full
I emptied the dish,
Of course the food was incredible too, like the Beef tataki salad that was a work of art.
I had been craving French toast so when I saw this on the menu, I KNEW I had to order it IMMEDIATELY.
They’re known for their pasta dishes here, and the Tomato seafood pasta definitely did not miss.
Thanks for reading! ^-^
Drinks: Dirty Matcha, Banana Latte, and Strawberry Matcha were all good.
Came on Sat around 11am and there was a short wait (5m). Overall didn’t seem like groups were waiting long at all. Service is fast and friendly.
We ordered a few things, and our favorite dish was the mentaiko pasta. It was so rich and creamy! The bread that came with the pasta was also amazing, and my boyfriend’s favorite part of the whole meal. The sweet chili shrimp was a nice balance of sweet, sour, and spicy. The beef tataki salad was the perfect dish to balance the heavy flavors of the shrimp and pasta. The salad was refreshing & light and a generous portion. It was the perfect palate cleanser. The beef itself was quite soft and flavorful.
We also ordered the ricotta pistachio cake and the red velvet cake to go. We were told the slices were frozen and was then asked if we wanted to let it naturally thaw or have it heated up in the microwave. We opted to let the cakes defrost on our drive back naturally. I’m not sure if the cakes are made in-house then frozen, or ordered from a bakery. I didn’t enjoy the red velvet cake because the frosting wasn’t cream cheese; that could just be a personal preference. It just tasted like very sweet frosting. As someone who’s not big on sweets, I could only have two bites. However, the ricotta pistachio cake was quite different and quite delicious, actually. It was light and not too sweet.
Overall, this place is such a hidden gem. It’s a bit far away from us, but we will definitely be back to try more dishes!
The only problem was that the food took so long. They apologized, but it really did take some time to come out.
The service was fantastic and it was a like a fusion of Korean and American breakfast.
