Since the Dugout bought out Silos and changed the menu, this place has really gone down hill on taste and quality of food. They used to have one of the best hamburgers (the John Deere) and the best French dip that I’ve ever had in my 48 years on earth.

They have a great house salad. I order the small one and still take some home for dinner. It’s really laid back and everything us made fresh. My friend ordered the Hawaiian Burger and said it was great. Oh, their wedgie fries are the best ever!!!

Dang it… ordered take out here and can honestly say, that was a HUGE mistake. For starters, they don’t answer the phone. My wife and I each called a few times before I just drove over (this is the only place close enough to get non-soggy fries). I asked the gal working if she would recommend the burger or the chicken sandwich. She suggested the chicken. Then it really got rolling downhill. It is literally a gas station quality, frozen chicken strip on a bun… I requested onion rings and they were out. I will say their fries are good. But that’s it. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for anything besides beer and snacks.

Immediately after leaving the Badger Canyon Dugout, I went straight home and took a rapid Covid-19 test. When the test result came back negative, it dawned on me the loss of taste I was experiencing was from the tasteless food I had ate a short time earlier. The food was terrible, overcooked and had no flavor whatsoever. This was a great place to go when it was Silo’s, but now you’re better off getting the 8 hour old corn dogs at the mini mart acorss the street.

So disappointed! I’ve had really great food at their other locations in the past. Only one or two people in the bar/restaurant. But it took a long time to get our food and it was lukewarm. I paid $16 for a patty melt that had a small patty that didn’t cover half of the bread, a smattering of onion, and you couldn’t see the cheese. One good thing was the server was great!

Playing darts, went outside to smoke, came back and our table was cleared. Drinks and cash. Watch your table, bartender said she thought it was a tip. If you’re not watching they’ll snatch it up quick
