Backyard Firepit is a smoked BBQ food truck. We slow smoke all of our meats with hickory wood and pride ourselves in providing you with fresh never frozen or microwaved food. We have limited parking in our backyard .We hope you have a blast vacationing in this beautiful island. Come early items may run out fast!

Cannot recommend this place highly enough. The brisket was amazing with the peach bourbon bbq sauce. The Mac and cheese was delightful and the local salt potatoes were so delicious. The backyard patio was a great place to enjoy lunch. Will definitely be back.

We ordered the three meat combo with 2 sides. We tried the pulled pork, brisket, and the ribs. We chose the peach bourbon homemade sauce which she recommended and said it was made with fresh peaches. We chose the salt potatoes and the backyard slaw as our sides. Everything was delicious. Our favorite was the brisket. We also really liked the salt potatoes and the peach sauce. We went to get more later in the day, but they had just closed. We will definitely go back. It was a very windy day so we took food back to our cottage. They did have a nice area for dining outside.

Small food truck operation but good bbq. Pulled pork sandwich had good red coloring but not a lot of smokey taste. I chose vinegar sauce, cause its what I prefer with pork. I bought brisket to go but haven’t tried it yet. Got the peach/something sauce for that. Worth stopping by.

Absolutely one of these best. We had a sampling of the brisket, pulled pork, baked beans, Mac and cheese, chili mac all were incredibly good. So happy to have found this place and can’t wait to go again!

Ribs were so tender they fell off the bone, juicy and delicious. Brisket was delicious and wings were good as well. All three seemed to be seasoned slightly differently. My only disappointment was getting there at noon and they only had a half order of wings left, I wanted more, guess I am not the only one who likes them.

Honestly the best place we’ve been too on the island! This food is amazing, and the people are extremely nice and welcoming. We had the pulled pork and brisket and they were both very very good! Highly, highly recommended!!

A waste of $30! We got the pulled pork sandwiches, cornbread and salted potatoes. EVERYTHING was flavorless and the pork was extremely dry! I don’t know who are highly rating this place but their tastebuds must be missing. I was so disappointed with my food. I felt forced to eat it because of how much i spent on it!

FINALLY! A good homemade pulled pork sandwich! Ive been looking for a new BBQ joint for 3 years since my go to place closed. I’ve been extremely underwhelmed until we found this business. 10/10 would recommend. I had the pulled pork with the homemade BBQ and carolina vinegar, which was phenomenal! And my husband had the ribs with the same sauces and they just melted right off the bone. We will be going back. SOOOO good
