Went there for my birthday had to send my steak back every one had an issue with their steak. If you are craving choice grade steaks with no seasoning cooked by an amateur then this is your place, otherwise stick to the entrées that aren’t steak and this place is great. The new cocktails were really good and the staff was excellent. Do yourself a favor and don’t order any steak, get some cocktails and maybe shrimp or asparagus and you’ll be happy wasting $90.

We went to dinner tonight for NYE and everything was just amazing from the service to the food. We all enjoyed our food and cocktails. The calamari was delish! Our steaks were cooked to perfection, twice baked potato casserole was really tasty. Couldn’t have asked for anything more. Our server was one of the most attentive we’ve had in a while. Thank you back porch!

WAY TOOOOO EXPENSIVE….it is not an ideal Classy feel restaurant to spend $$$$ on, the only thing they have going for them is the stupid lake! If you have $$$$ good for you! Go waste it at this place…cause heaven forbid you gotta find somewhere to spend ALL that money on! I can name many other big money restaurants around Hot Springs that at least offer a dining experience worth paying extra for. 501 Prime would be a good start. This should be a burger and beer joint…not some $50 plus for an average cooked steak

Sides were great cocktails were amazing, don’t order steak though. 4 people 1 filet 2 ribeyes. Filet was overcooked and ribeyes were rare. One in our party got the shrimp pasta and another got Parmesan garlic shrimp both were amazing. I hate complaining but if you spend $300 on a meal your steak should be perfect. Atmosphere and waiters were nice.

Found this place on google maps while looking for a dinner near our hotel. It did not disappoint. My steak was cooked perfectly and flavorful. My wife’s diver scallops were also very good. Scenery at sunset was spectacular and Callie our server was as sweet as can be.
A little pricey but worth it.

Came with a large group which seems to be normal for this spot. I think 75% of the diners were on a work dinner. Service was better than I expected for a large group. Steak was ok but fries were not good. Overall this place isn’t a good value. Prices are insane for the quality.

I’ve never had a bad experience here. I get the surf n’ turf & it’s absolutely amazing. The lobster & steak are always cooked perfectly.
I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good meal.

This restaurant is on Lake Hamilton with great views! The crawfish bisque had just a touch of heat but was delicious! The steaks were cooked to order and had a great flavor. The wine and cheese salad dressing is phenomenal! They offer loaded mashed potato casserole, which was really good, but if you like mushrooms OMG. they are wonderful! While in Hot Springs, give this locally owned place a try. Oh, and they provide a full bar for all of your cocktail needs.

MUST GO IN HOT SPRINGS!! We went on Friday night for my wife’s birthday and had Ernie as our waiter and he was incredible. Very knowledgeable about the area and had great advice on the menu. Food was amazing as well. The loaded fries appetizer is to die for. Cajun ribeye and shrimp, chicken pasta, and dessert were off the chain.

I travelled to Hot Springs this week, and Back Porch Grill was recommended to my group by previous visitors. It was beyond 100° Real Feel temp outside, so we opted to sit indoors, but they do have outdoor seating on an uncovered deck by the lake, which would be a lovely setting in more accommodating temperatures. The actual grill is open and visible to most/all patrons seated indoors, and I felt like that made the room a bit uncomfortably warm in these summer temps. Our server was a charming and friendly man–I think his name is Ernie, but I could be wrong. He was helpful in our decisions on what to order, which I always appreciate! I decided on the Red Snapper that was covered with a Cajun cream sauce, and it was sooooo good! It was a large portion and came with a salad and a potato side, all for about $32 (not including drinks). One friend ordered the least expensive steak (flat-iron?), and another got a pasta with shrimp and chicken. Everyone liked their food, and I would definitely go back, although it’s all a little pricey for my liking (you could easily spend $50-100+ per diner, if you wanted, but there are lots of options that fit in the $30-50 range). If you’re a steak person, it’s probably going to be right up your alley, though! I think for me, their seafood is where it’s at.
