Their food is subpar compared to what it used to be.
Hardly any toppings on their mashed potato bowls. They didn’t even hate something that they are advertising. Won’t be back!!!!!
I placed my order through the drive-thru and rounded up my total to charity at the time of payment. After paying, I was informed that there would be an 18-minute wait for my food. I requested my receipt and was told it would be placed in my bag once my order was ready. At that time, I was only given my drink.
After waiting approximately 25 minutes, I observed multiple customers who arrived after me receive their food before I did. When I finally received my order, it was incomplete. The queso was missing, and no receipt was provided. I parked and entered the restaurant to address the issue. Although the manager observed me walk in, I was not acknowledged until he completed another drive-thru order.
I explained to the manager, who identified himself as Bobby, that my order was missing both the queso and the receipt. He handed me a visibly crumpled receipt and stated he would return with the queso.
When he returned, the queso was brought out in a separate container and then poured directly into my cup rather than being dispensed from the proper equipment or containers typically used for this item. The queso was extremely watered down. When I questioned the quality, I was told to “give it five minutes to solidify.” Immediately after saying this, Bobby walked away, leaving me no opportunity to respond or ask further questions, and I had to wait again for him to return.
After waiting the additional five minutes, the queso remained watered down. When I raised this concern, Bobby then admitted that the queso was not ready at the time it was poured into my cup and acknowledged this only after I questioned the quality.
Due to the quality of the food and the manner in which the situation was handled, I politely requested a refund. Bobby stated that the store does not issue refunds and that all sales are final, directing me to contact corporate. When I asked what could be done to resolve the issue, he stated that he could call his manager, and I asked him to do so.
While speaking with his manager by phone, he was given step by step instructions on how to process a refund. He then returned with my money, offered a one word “sorry,” quickly grabbed all of the food, and walked away immediately, leaving no opportunity for further conversation.
I waited until he resurfaced and then asked for the name of the manager he had spoken with. When I asked, he repeatedly directed me to look at the door rather than answering directly. After asking multiple times, he finally stated her name was Crystal. At that point, he made a sarcastic comment upon noticing that my glasses were recording.
As I exited the restaurant, another comment was made that led me to believe it was directed toward me in a dismissive manner. When I returned to ask for clarification, his demeanor noticeably changed. He appeared more friendly and collaborative after realizing he was still being recorded; however, by that point, the damage had already been done. The shift in tone did not feel sincere, but rather an attempt to protect himself once he became aware of the recording.
Throughout this entire interaction, I remained calm, patient, and respectful. Unfortunately, that same level of professionalism and respect was not extended to me. The excessive wait time, missing items, improperly prepared food, lack of transparency, resistance to resolution, and dismissive conduct from management resulted in an experience that left me extremely dissatisfied.
This experience was disappointing and unacceptable. I will not be returning to this location, and I believe it is important that leadership is aware of how customers are being treated.
My queso arrived hotter than warm, my 8pc nuggets arrived cold, like deli meat. My fries were cold and my curds were warm.
0/10 wouldn’t recommend.. it in fact was not “packed and double-checked for accuracy” ♂️
