I used to go to that bar pre-pandemic, 2010’s era. I am finally saying good-bye with good feedback. I liked the music. It had a relaxing atmosphere… not too much pressure. If you don’t feel like you belong, it feels like an embarrassing escape, but they do a good job. Not everyone likes bars with luxury. Look, I dated three different male customers, over time. They were an attractive crowd, but I wasn’t out of the closet yet, so I was just into the opposite gender. It was fun, a little bit rowdy, but it’s probably male oriented with mildly funny bar maiden jokes. Very lawful, fun to go to, but that’s basic stuff to me now. I was in my 30’s. Sorry to the bartenders I used to know. Sorry for your loss, rest in peace, to our dearly departed friend, the beautiful ex, our Lisa. R. I. P. Kar-Annie from Seattle, and also Shoreline… grunge kids generation.

The best dive bar I’ve been to in Washington!
There’s a large area of people here, college age, middle aged trying to get out of the house, older patrons feeling them self, sports fans, bartenders getting off work from other bars, everything.
As soon as the jukebox came on everybody started singing, dancing even, especially the people that you would least expect would know a Nicki Minaj song.
The bartender, my goodness, what a gem. She had the best personality, she was so efficient, only ever had a smile and could totally hustle.
The drinks were strong and inexpensive. I recommend getting canned beers, or basic drinks, nothing on tap.
This place is magical. I’ve been wanting to go back, to Back Door, ever since. ❤️

The Back Door Pub is great. Brittany was professional and her energy fit the vibe of the bar perfectly. She single-handedly kept everything running smoothly even with a busy bar. The owner and patrons added to the awesome atmosphere and were nothing but friendly and easy to talk to. This will be regular spot for me anytime I’m passing through the area.

Great spot to kick back. Even though the pinball, foosball and pool table are all in total solitary confinement due to the virus, this place still rocks! Free park in front OR back, great bartenders and good drinks…..plus TouchTunes music and fun “cardboard crack” (pulltabs) to keep on happy!!!!!

Really great place, love Taylor the bartender, she is super nice and makes great drinks. Her dog is awesome, makes a great vibe.
Very comforting and inviting place, it is far from being against any communities, everyone is treated nice and equally.

This is a total dive bar but the people here are regulars and they make you feel at home including the bartender. Truly an amazing place. Extra bonus. They allow dogs inside the place. Super extra points. They don’t have food but they allow you to bring food from outside

Bartenders were very kind and polite. I had missed the last transit bus and am not from the area, it was me and my 3.5 lb chihuahua Roxanne.
We were cold,lost and needed to charge my phone.
They checked my ID to make sure I was of age and then allowed me to use their charger,use the restroom and get warm.
Truly ladies thank you you kind of saved us that night
