My youngest said the burger was fantastic. Tres Amigos was good, but I’d like to trade the beef enchilada for something else. My middle child thoroughly enjoyed the Burrito California. The salsa was a little off – too much of a tomato taste, and the seasoning was odd. The queso was lacking but was okay. The unsweet tea tasted like water. If we needed to eat here again, we certainly would, but, all in all, I’m not sure we’d go out of our way to eat here. Giving it 4 stars because the entrees made up for other places that were lacking.

Great flavor on all the dishes we had. Service was quick and friendly. Refills offered often and to go cups if you wanted. It was busy for a Weds and they were filling take out orders. Wife selection on the menu.

The staff was so sweet and amazing!! The food was SPOT ON. So full of flavor!! I left stuffed and making plans for a return.
The patio outside looks so inviting, when my husband asked to sit outside I was concerned, it was so hot outside I was worried I wouldnt be able to enjoy my food or the company . I was WRONG!! The fans they have scattered throughout gave a nice cooling breeze .
And the drinks , YUM !!!!

Food amazing …huge portions ..easy on the wallet..cold cold beer and service was amazing…restaurant was clean but tables were sticky.the bathroom was also clean .. we definitely recommend trying this place ….t.v’s were off and there was no music that is the only bad thing I have to say !!!

Great little place to grab a meal. The atmosphere rating of 3 is just the inside but they have an outside area with a much better atmosphere. It was just cold when we went ao we stuck with the indoor experience.

Very unimpressed. Atmosphere definitely an F. With the food, I was also seriously unimpressed and disappointed. I left very hungry.
I ordered a “so-called” Chicken Chef Salad. If anything, it was the size of a side salad. It was some shredded lettuce with some extremely overcooked pieces of grilled chicken on top with sour cream and guacamole. I did eat it all and did not complain. I never complain about food in restaurants to the servers unless something is very seriously wrong with it , which will make me ill.
It was served on a plate about 6 inches by 6 inches. I realize that, as Americans, we are generally very overfed in our serving sizes, and therefore, it has led to a serious obesity epidemic, but this would not have fed a small child. I seriously left the restaurant hungry. I commented to my grandmother that they must think I need to lose weight or something. I will post a picture, but it is hard to gauge by the photo, and I forgot to take one before I stirred it up.
Another thing that was disappointing was when we walked in, there was extremely loud obnoxious rap music playing on the TV. I was with my 88 year old grandmother. I know she wouldn’t complain, but that is definitely not the environment I was going for with an “afternoon out with grandma.”
I will definitely not be coming back here. We gave it a try, and I am thoroughly disappointed. We will continue to go to the other Mexican restaurant across town.

Every time we visit Lake Darbonne we have to eat here! The food and service is great AND they’ve added on a nice covered patio outside that is so fun!!!
