Some might be put off with the portion sizes but this is a very cosy and intimate Italian meal nonetheless. We had the salmon carpaccio and mussels for appetizers, then veal gorgonzola, grouper bake and seafood pasta with dessert. If you aren’t concerned with having leftovers then a meal here would be a good one.

DELICIOUS! Rochester has a lot of good Italian restaurants and this is one of the top. We called ahead for a 8pm reservation and were seated immediately upon arrival. We did get some warm bead to start. Both the entrees are AMAZING AND RICH soooo creamy! The four cheese penne is a must! For dessert you can not go wrong with the creme brûlée!

This is, HANDS DOWN, one of the absolute best restaurants I have ever been to. I took my brother here when he visited a few months ago, and we still haven’t stopped gushing to our parents about how great of an experience it was. Our waiter, Giovanni, made us feel at home, like we were old friends that he was so excited to see again, even though we had just met. He called us by name and ensured that we were comfortable and were enjoying ourselves. I have dietary restrictions, and he helped me to order something I knew I would safely enjoy. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough if you want just an exceptional dining experience.

Came here college graduation weekend for dinner. Although they were completely slammed, the wait staff was attentive and helpful. The food was delicious! We started with the homemade bread and house salads. I had a spinach gnocchi special and my mother got the chicken Milanese. Both were cooked to perfection and had a ton of flavor. Giovanni, the owner came over a couple times to introduce himself and make sure everything was to our liking. We ended the meal with a wild raspberry cheesecake. Needless to say it was an excellent dining experience and we look forward to coming back. Great job, Giovanni and staff! Bravo

Came in early on a Friday evening, no need for a reservation as it was during a slow time of year. Was greeted personally by the owner, a very hospitable and pleasant man who checked back on us regularly. Service was quick and friendly, and was able to recommend things in detail. I’d heard a few complaints about the bread before but we found it to be delicious. My wife & I went through 3 baskets!

Not from the area. A friend recommended this place and I am so glad we went! Everything was outstanding. From start to finish everything was perfect. Called, arrived there 5 minutes later and had a table. Service from everyone was exactly how it should be everywhere! Our server Ashley made the experience great. On to the food… OMG the food was delicious wine was delicious. Highly highly recommended. I would drive back to Rochester to eat here 100 times! Awesome place.

Went Saturday night for the second time and again, the food was wonderful. Everyone loved their appetizers and entrees! Not the same Italian fare you can get in any Italian restaurant. Our waitress was great too, friendly and accommodating. Our only problem was the wait, probably because the restaurant is so small; but then that adds to the ambiance. Overall, a wonderful place to go!

The experience was horrible. I’m not from the area, I’m from Syracuse NY and was in town for the HomeGoods store. We decided to grab Italian food and google whatever was around. The walls are dirty and it smells like mildew in the restaurant. We didn’t know the restaurant wasn’t “kid friendly” so we had no choice but to order adult, high priced meals, for children 1-5. $175 dollars later. There wasn’t a high chair for my 1 year old so I had to hold him the entire time. We didn’t have much choices for kids drinks, it was either orange juice, water, or soda, so we choose the OJ. We tried it and it tasted like alcohol. It was sour. I confronted the waitress and she said “well we don’t sell to much juice”, which confirmed it was rotten, and still charged me for it. Portions of food were small, the pasta gave my family stomach pains, capers salad was gross. I am never eating here again and I don’t recommend this place to anyone. Whoever calls that fine dining is clearly crazy!!!

Just don’t see the allure. We had been recommended this place, but quite honestly there are MUCH better / authentic Italian options in town. The fish special and veal were simply ok, the price was high, the wine list was unremarkable, and the margarine on the table rather than butter spoke volumes. When my fish arrived cold, but the risotto streaming hot, they offered to reheat the fish. I declined. It was already tough. At over $150 for two people, we’ll pass next time.
