My friend and I had lunch at Bacaro Primo and grabbed a table out front on the sidewalk. It was the perfect spot for a summer afternoon. My friend ordered the shrimp scampi and I went with the paccheri. Both were excellent, full of rich, well-balanced flavor. We wrapped things up with the olive oil pistachio cake and coffee, which was a lovely finish.
The only downside was that they don’t offer any non-dairy milk options for coffee. That said, the staff were fantastic, friendly, attentive, and able to provide great service without interrupting the flow of our lunch meeting. Overall, a wonderful experience and I would gladly return.

What a hidden gem!! Some of the best chicken parm I have ever had! Everyone loved their plates! I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a smaller authentic mom and pop Italian restaurant!!

First time here and we loved it! We started with the focaccia and Caesar salad… Both were delicious! The olive oil/garlic confit/balsamic dip was absolutely amazing on the focaccia. Then I had the linguine with clams and it was delicious, but not super flavorful, and my dad had the fettuccine with crushed tomatoes and basil, and Italian sausage. We had a couple of drinks each as well, and really wanted to have the tiramisu but just didn’t have room! Next time, I’ll definitely get dessert.

I hate to say it, but this place is very overhyped.

We were excited to finally get off the waitlist after hearing it was one of the best Italian spots in KC, but the experience didn’t live up to it. The burrata and focaccia were great, but the rest went downhill.

Entrées took about 40 minutes. My husband’s dish was completely wrong, which added another 15 minutes while the rest of us were already eating. The chicken added to my fusilloni was stiff and tough like it had been cooked from frozen, with dry breading falling off.

We came hoping for a great Italian dinner and left feeling like the hype was better than the meal. Maybe TikTok enjoyed it more than we did.

This place was fantastic. All of our meals were extraordinary. There are so many dishes here that I’ve never had before and we loved every single one. The staff was friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was spectacular. It’s such a cool space, and very comfortable. This is a great spot for a date. Quiet enough that you can hear each other but not subdued. The prices were on the higher end but not at all unreasonable. I look forward to coming back.

We were in the neighborhood and went to Google to find an Italian restaurant because that is what we were craving. Great location, and absolutely love the vibe. I don’t know if they can do large parties as it’s a very small place but it is also a very cool space. It’s definitely Italian but I would say a more modern Italian – like Italian with a flare. It wasn’t absolutely delicious but it was very good. One of the things that is very big to me, as far as service, is if our drinks are ever empty. One thing I like about the restaurant, and restaurants like this, is they put a container of water on the table. The problem is the water glasses are very small and our container of water was empty and I had to ask for it to be refilled. That is a big indication if there is good service (the restaurant was not busy). I will say our waiter was very sweet and kind. I didn’t absolutely fall in love with any of the dishes so I don’t know if I will be back and I don’t know if I can highly recommend. But it’s a nice place.

Another amazing neighborhood spot from the team that brought us Earls premier. I don’t know how they manage to make a restaurant immediately feel like it’s been part of the neighborhood for years but they have that magic. Great service and food made with quality ingredients. On our first visit, we were treated to a slice of prosciutto that was shaved so thin that it just dissolved into a delicious cloud when it hit my tongue. The pizza crust is crispy and light and topped with just the right amount of ingredients to highlight the combination of flavors.
I have been in 3 times already and had different dishes each time and have yet to be disappointed.

What an awesome KC spot! Such a charming romantic vibe and a wonderful menu. You can’t go wrong ordering anything from this menu. We started with the house salad (addicting, the best Italian house salad I’ve ever had) and the calamari (solid). We followed up with the Rosa pizza, papardelle, and the special of the day which was essentially a carbonara. Smaller portions on the pasta but they’re so rich and delicious it almost doesn’t matter. Pizza was perfectly done and was such a unique combo of flavors w the sausage and the vodka sauce. The blackberry dessert and the affogato were both insanely delicious as well. You can’t miss this place!!!

Angie took fantastic care of us! She was very detailed and knowledgeable when we asked about certain items. She did not linger but was always around when we needed her. The Rosa pizza was outstanding. Spicy enough with the subtle hint of honey. The meatballs were some of the best I’ve ever had, over a bed of ricotta that was just velvety and great. I had never had a variation of mussels with potato’s however I was pleasantly surprised. Nice and balanced with a thickened broth from the potato’s. We also tried the Olive Frittes, Shrimp Scampi, Bolognese, Gelato Trio and Olive Oil cake which were all superb. The restaurant feels European and cozy. 10/10!
