Stopped here on a whim as I was driving by. I loved the way that the shop was decorated, it was definitely the highlight of my visit here. The host didn’t seem like they were very happy to be there, no one smiled at me or greeted me as I came in. I was seated & it took the staff like 5 minutes before anyone even approached me with a menu or brought me water. I ordered the bacon, egg & cheese scone & it would’ve been good but the scone was particularly dry. I probably wouldn’t have eaten it if I wasn’t hungry upon arrival. The tea I got had a hair in it & the lady that poured my drink didn’t even notice. I ordered the raspberry cheesecake bites for dessert which I thought were very tasty. I think it’s an adorable concert, but I feel as though the food is over priced for what you get. I had high expectations of this place & was let down overall. Probably won’t come back again

Tea was great and the space is cutely decorated. Service was mediocre, however they were very busy so we gave our waitress Brooklyn some grace. The prix fixe menu for the tea sandwiches, scones, and desserts was not good. The food was bland, dry, and one of the sandwiches had way too much mayo. Overall, we don’t think the food is worth $60 per person. That said, the manager was very kind and adjusted our bill to a cheaper price, which we appreciated. We will be back to try the à la carte or happy hour menu.

Love this place. The cocktails are great, the tea is all super nice, and the food is good (I recommend the smoked salmon board on the happy hour menu and the caesar salad!). Brooklynne is the best server as well. Will definitely be back and definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing vibe!

Edited my review as the service seems to have drastically improved. In the past we experienced unfriendly and snappy service but after a month away, it seems to have really improved. We went back today to a much friendlier staff, great food, and smiles all around. Happy that the service has gotten much better and walk-in friendly again.

It was decorated very cute, a good place to take pictures.
My friends and I did the traditional afternoon tea, 60 per person.
Pro: we did get full from the sandwiches and scones. We actually took home the desserts. The tea was endless, trying different tea was fun!
Con: food took 30-45 minutes to arrive. All the tables around us were getting there within 15min. The quiche was in burnt, inside was hard and the outside was dry and hard. Scones were dry
Our waitress was nice and bubbly. However, she never explained why our food was arriving late. Just kept saying our food was coming. It was not until later that I asked was when she told us, that we came in at the same time with a big party. Ok that’s fine, but at least let us know why it was late. Or your kitchen should have a separate person doing smaller orders, so ours was not late.

Great time . Meredith took care of us. She did a wonderful job. Very personable!
The tea was absolutely delicious & the experience was fun as I went with my friend, & she had never been.
We were seated in the back in a private room with 2 other events going on. It got a bit loud, but we’ were still able to visit.
Also, the sandwiches were obviously prepared ahead of time as they were dry, but I still enjoyed myself. I would recommend ~

Wow, what a nice surprise. Ashlie was amazing and had great recommendations. The drinks were some of the best I have ever had. The atmosphere was great the staff were all very friendly and talk about location. The bar was great but in the summer the patio overlooking the river, can’t wait!

Excellent service and food! The atmosphere and treats were all photo worthy and staff was so welcoming. Jamie, Brooklynne and Gigi took amazing care of of us. We got the macaron chef’s choice sampler and the Chai Macaron took the cake. Our favorite hot tea was the Earl Grey de la Creme with hints of vanilla and bergamot. Heaven. Best way to spend a Tuesday afternoon! Added a glass of sparkling rose’ for dessert

Have been here before as a guest but specifically want to highlight Babe’s as an event venue! I had my dream baby sprinkle at this location and the staff, the venue, and the gorgeous location in Golden made it perfect. We had a planned menu and the whole experience went smoothly and was beautiful. The menu met everyone’s dietary needs and all the food and drinks came out in a timely manner. The room was beautiful and had great lighting for photos! Thanks to the whole Babe’s team for making this day so special.

The service here was fantastic. I really appreciated the walkthroughs, as this was our first time at tea. The food and tea were delicious and surprisingly filling. I was thinking this would just be a snack but it came out to 2 sandwiches per person plus desserts – highly recommend the chocolate tart thing, it has chunks of salt and is DIVINE.
The location itself is beautiful and in a really great spot. We were able to find parking easily and walk around to a lot of locally owned businesses.
