This place is kind of a hit or miss. The brunch is really good, but their matcha latte is very watery. Their burgers were good, but the Cajun salad I got had overcooked chicken and was drenched in a very sweet dressing. Their bulgogi rice bowl is definitely interesting, but the cheese on top kinda threw me off.

Tried out this place a few months back based on a friend’s recommendation and I must say, it was pretty good for a coffee shop. They had been ordering coffee and a few sandwiches from here pretty regularly so I had to try this place when I visited them.

I just got a chai tea latte there a few moments ago! I didn’t know I had about 4 bucks and 80 cents left to my name since I was shopping and washing clothes earlier. I had 60 bucks left to my name at the time and didn’t know I went down to 4 or had 4 bucks to my name in general! The kind gentleman at the counter who works there with the white hat had took the liberty to pay off the rest of the 2 bucks for me—for the chai tea. And I honestly am truly grateful for their kindness! ( I was the girl with the brown beanie hat and the white pajama pants with the stars and moon designs haha xD )

I grabbed lunch from this place many times, but lately the food they make is horrible. Just got 2 chicken macaroni soups that tasted like we bit into a block of salt, we threw them out.. and the sandwich was bland, with old and dry turkey.

I come here all the time! The food is really good and there is so much to choose from. The coffee is good too and they will easily make exceptions to what you need. The staff is really friendly and helpful. It’s not necessarily a cute cafe looks wise but it’s good food.

Cute little Jersey City coffee shop with great breakfast sandwiches. Close to the Liberty Harbor Marina, and a sister restaurant to Beechwood Cafe on Grove Street, this is a great place to grab a coffee, eat as well as get some work done.
