B Graves in Troy is truly an exquisite restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and great music. Every visit is accompanied by top-notch service, and the food is always excellent. We love dining here and celebrating special occasions, and it’s one of the best restaurants in town. Highly recommended!

B. Graves used to be rather better. I’ve been coming here for 7+ years now and things are not as good as they were.
The last few visits, I only came for weekend brunch. On each occasion the coffee was tepid, at best.
On one occasion, the Hangover Hash (my favorite) was not available as they had run out of breakfast potatoes. The latest time, it appears they are cutting back to save money, as the proportion of beef was much smaller, while the green pepper was much more of the mix. And the few pieces of beef included two with a lot of gristle. Maybe the evening meals are better, but it feels disappointing now.
The current AL Health Department rating is 87, too low for a high-quality establishment. The competition can do better.
Customer service is very good. The wait staff are well-trained and effective. The decor is pleasant and relaxing and there always seems to be the buzz of conversation.

This was our second time here and we both got the same exact meal that we got. The first time we came. He had the mahi-mahi and I had the Mediterranean shrimp pasta. Only thing I’ll say is the bruschetta on the menu is not what you expect (the tomatoes on top of toast), it came out more as some type of charcuterie board. That was not my thing so they brought us regular bruschetta which was delicious.

Great music, nice vibe but clearly the staff was not prepared for guest. They were out of pretty much everything. We had to change our order due to this very reason. The waitress didn’t refill everyone’s beverage and had to be asked to remove used dishes on top of being displeased with our food everyone in our party barely touched our food. Beautiful place but I wouldn’t go back again.

Attended a Christmas party on Friday night. The event started at 6. The food was not ready until 7. We were suppose to get prime rib, they served us ribeye. They ran out of mashed potatoes, the green beans were absolutely disgusting. We were told we would get cheesecake. They brought out 16 pieces of cheesecake for 55 people. The bartender was never behind the bar, we constantly had to go downstairs. Overall, the experience was terrible! Never again! This place needs new management or it should never host events again!

Honestly one of the most horrendous dining experiences I’ve ever had. And frankly I don’t blame the staff, but management. It took a phone call and a return to make a reservation because the hostess was unsure on availability. There then was no one to greet us, as they seated us (a table of 5) at a four top, and had no clean glasses for water. My knife looked like someone had licked it clean it was so disgusting.
It then took, 100 MINUTES, to get our food!!! And when the food did arrive it was just average. The math is also not mathing that the Petite Fillet (4 oz.) is $27 but the Fillet (8 oz.) is $60. This makes no sense to me.
I don’t blame Tyler for the sub par service as a server, I blame management for an absolutely atrocious experience and understaffed team. It should not take over an hour and a half to receive food!

Our server Tyler was very nice. But it took roughly 2 hours to get food. It was good, but not worth that wait. It would have been wiser for them to just say they were at capacity tonight.

If you are in Troy for graduation, do not try and eat at B Graves if you respect your time. Do yourself a favor and go to Chick-fil-A or Publix deli instead. We waited 2.5 hours for food, there was no complementary bread service to tie us over for the food. The restaurant was great getting us in but if the kitchen could not have handled the volume, they should have told us that. The food was okay, but after waiting that long it was lackluster and very small portions. There were apologies, but empty apologies for the wait from Tyler. We know it wasn’t his fault, but the manager could have done something for those waiting, free appetizers or dessert. We left very disappointed. We will not be back if we find ourselves in Troy again.

My daughter treated me to dinner at B.Graves for my Birthday ! I was pleasantly surprised that this gem is located in Troy, our waitress and service were exceptional, she had the sweetest disposition! the food was AMAZING literally cleaned our plates !! My steak was perfect and my daughter had salmon which came with an amazing garlic spinach, just awesome!!!
Very surprised when the bill came because it was less than $100 all in all a really great dining experience and a wonderful birthday celebration
