My favorite Mexican restaurant in town they have some things you can’t find anywhere else! I love The azteca special, the zarape, the burrito poblano and the tacos de barbacoas! Highly recommend they are super friendly and fast and the food is super fresh

Great service, beautiful place. Food wasn’t great; beef in my chimi had a funky taste. The beans and rice tasted like reheats. Overall, I was disappointed in the food and I love Mexican food. I will go back but will order something different. Don’t be discouraged; this was a one time visit, and it may be much better another time!

Was a great place to in the past, staff was friendly and engaging. This visit was not. Each time I/we said “thank you” to our server we didn’t get a “you’re welcome” or even a smile. They brought me the wrong meat for my entree and hadn’t come back in a timely manner to check on us. Server went to get us more chips, but never came back with them. Not impressed and not coming back.

We decided to try this place out for my husband’s birthday. The place was bigger inside than expected with booth and chair seating available the food was served fairly fast after ordering and they have a good selection of kid friendly meals . The place was clean and the wait staff was nice . The food was better than we expected it to be and we will definitely be returning in the future . Mondays are also buy one margarita,get one free .

Azul is one of our favorite places to eat in Eau Claire. The food is consistently good, the staff is very accommodating and friendly, the service is fast, and the atmosphere is relaxing. We visit often and have a positive experience every time!

I got a wee bone to pick. I have been a long time lover of azul . I have always loved the food and the atmosphere. However, this last time I have gone around lunch time my waiter sucked. He ignored the table and sat in the back on his phone. He was incredibly short with me and one other person whom I was with(Jose s). The chips and salsa are still delicious . Furthermore, when the food came out I noticed how much my meal has changed in size. The tortilla used to fill the whole half plate, now it’s so small. Proof in the picture.The meal was a lot smaller and yet the same price. I normally could go home with leftovers but not this time. I was incredibly disappointed.

We love this place. It is always interesting to go to a Mexican restaurant where the senior waiter talks to the new waiters in Spanish. It takes us back to our many visits to Mazatlan Mexico. They had some kind of Mexican festival on one of the TV screens and a football game on another TV screen. We went there with children and grandchildren. They are always very accommodating.

The House Margaritas are YUMMY chips n salsa were great. However the sandwich I didn’t get a chance to taste. The bun was over microwaved and when cooled ~ well u know… Got hard & Rubbery. But they only charged me for 1 Margarita so it was a win. Very nice friendly staff

Moved here from AZ and thought that was going to be the last of having great authentic Mexican cuisine; I was wrong. Azul Tequila made me feel like I was back in AZ. Food was prepared very quickly, our server was great and the atmosphere was perfect. My family and I will definitely be returning back.
