Long time patron, portions are huge, I order the 50s special which gives you a good amount of food. 2 meats, 2 eggs, and the shortstack of pancakes. Sometimes I wish there was an option to have just one instead of two because they are huge, aside from that they serve good lunches, they had a turkey club that came with cranberry mayo that tasted divine, although you have to take my word on that one. Service is stellar, especially since the area can be packed at times. In short it is a go to breakfast spot for those who wish to eat good, and eat a lot.

Cute diner style restaurant. Basic breakfast food.
I had a veggie omelette with sourdough toast. That was pretty good. The bacon was a little too crisp for me not burnt just thinning crisp . The home fries could’ve been seasoned more . Next time I will try their sandwiches and soup. no wait for me because I sat at the counter. In general, pretty busy great location near Dedham Legacy place. Great place to bring the kids.

Came here on a week day 8:30am for breakfast a local spot very vintage spot old school! Has a nice atmosphere! I got 2 eggs over easy bacon (crispy) you get home fries and I got French toast with butter and powered sugars, cup of coffee. The service was excellent my server was welcoming friendly and made sure my cup was refilled when almost empty. Will be back again. the bathroom was clean and the tables where clean in restaurant! They do lunch also but haven’t tried yet only been here during breakfast time.

I’ve ordered takeout from this diner several times, but this was the first time my girlfriend went to pick it up for me — and it will definitely be our last.
When she arrived, it took a while for anyone to even acknowledge her. When she finally gave my name for the order, the older woman behind the counter made a comment under her breath, which was already unprofessional.
She waited about 15 minutes with no one asking her for any kind of order confirmation. But when the food was finally ready, the older woman suddenly refused to hand it over until she “proved” it was ours. While my girlfriend was calling me to get proof, the younger woman behind the counter pointed out that she had already been waiting long enough, yet the older woman still wouldn’t release the bag. She even made my girlfriend list what was inside it before handing it over.
This diner has multiple signs and rules posted right at the front about every little thing, yet there isn’t a single sign stating that customers need to show any kind of verification for online pickups. If this is a requirement, it should be posted just like all the others.
To be completely honest, the way my girlfriend was treated felt racially motivated. I’ve picked up from them before with no issues and without ever being asked for “proof,” but the very first time she went, she was spoken to and questioned in a way that I’ve never experienced there or anywhere else. If I could, I would give this place zero stars. Our experience started off poorly with how we were treated upon arrival. We were a party of six, but only five of us had arrived, and despite telling the staff that the sixth person was in the parking lot, they refused to seat us and seated another group instead. The behavior of the waitress was extremely rude.
The ambiance of the place is not appealing. As for the drinks, they only offer regular coffee, which didn’t taste good. They didn’t even ask everyone for their drink preferences and just brought coffee for everyone without asking.
The food was equally disappointing. The dishes were either burnt or undercooked and tasted terrible.
I do not recommend this place at all. I am baffled by the good reviews they have received.
