We had the steak and shrimp fajitas. They were delicious. I enjoyed the guacamole, Jalapeño relish and other toppings. The complimentary salsa and chips were very good as well. David was our server and he was very attentive. I appreciated that we weren’t rushed. I’d definitely recommend giving them a try, expect good food and a casual atmosphere.

The server was great, however I feel that even if you own or higher up in management and you see your establishment very busy. Regardless if you think you have enough staff, roll your damn sleeves up and help. One manager was doing great serving and resolving issues within the restaurant. However one guy stood with a hard frown on his face and watched everything and never smiled or greeted the customers or even assisted during a busy time. If you would just smile and greet your customers the ambience would have been more welcoming. With that being said the food was very good.

I was so very disappointed with my order from Aztecas through ASAP food delivery service. I ordered a ground beef taco salad that was a disappointment. It had no shell, 3 slices of tomatoes and 3 slices of avocado looking nothing like what is on the website I ordered off of. I would have ordered form another restaurant or something else from Aztecas had I known my food wasn’t going to look like what was advertised! Never again!!!!

I don’t expect complete authenticity in south Louisiana but this is by far the worst Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to, so bad that this is the first time I’ve ever written a google review. First of all they don’t have Pico De Gallo and the queso somehow tasted like it had cinnamon in it. The enchilada ranchero tasted like I was eating sloppy joes wrapped in a tortilla. The taquitos were so dry my friend couldn’t finish one. A full grown waitress took a vape out of her pocket and took a huge rip in the middle of the dining room. Lastly our waiter was creepy and hovered our entire meal, which we did not finish because the food was terrible.

Last night Hubby and I stayed at the motel across the street. We decided to eat here. Hubby has extreme allergies to sunflower and seseme. Hayden was working. He brought out awesome fresh chips and salsa. I started eating them …and then Hubby asked Hayden about the oils etc. Hayden went back and actually took a picture of the labels and let him read them. Unfortunately, he couldn’t eat anything with the oil they used. So, then we had a Hayden check the buns. He was so kind and considerate. He didn’t seem to mind at all. Actually they didn’t have the package yet so we couldn’t tell. So then, we asked about the tortilla shells, the corn and flour shells! Poor Hayden….but again…he didn’t seem to mind! Again, he took pictures of the packages and let us look ourselves. We were so happy to see he could have the corn tortillas!! So then we could finally eat! Then he had to find out for sure about the shrimp and the crawfish to make sure they were not fried in the oil…and they were not! We ordered and the food was great! I had chimichanga and hubby had shrimp and crawfish enchiladas! And we can’t say enough good about Hayden!! He was the best!!! Thanks again Hayden!!!! And you have a nice smile!

This is one of my favorite lunch spots downtown. Great food and friendly servers. I am particularly fond of the seared tuna tacos with the mago salsa on top. Delicious!

This WAS the chicken enchilada and chicken taco lunch. I devoured the taco before thinking to take a picture. It was very tasty! The enchilada was made to order with my choice of sauce and I chose sour cream sauce per my server’s suggestion and enjoyed that as well. The entree comes with rice and beans. I got beans only as I’m not a fan of rice. The restaurant appeared to be super clean. Everyone I encountered was polite and professional. Food was well seasoned and fresh considering I went in at 2 in the afternoon. Chips and salsa were complimentary. With no regrets, I spent a little more on lunch than I care to – it was well worth it though and I look forward to trying other menu items in the future.
