This was my first time going to the restaurant and I had no idea it was located in a plaza, which gave me hesitations, but once you walk in, all my worries went away. Traditional Mexican music was playing, and there is traditional artsy booths, and decor. The food was exquisite. Definitely authentic, flavorful, and very filling. I ordered the tamarindo Margarita and let’s just say that it was gone very quickly! If you are in the area and in the mood for homey, authentic Mexican food, this is the place. I was very impressed.

Food used to be awesome but is now very average, $19.00 for tacos. Ridiculous!Not spicy at all, kind of boring. They remodeled and took out all the beautiful colorful benches and decorations. Our server could speak no English and couldn’t explain the specials. What a shame

Service was absolutely horrendous. Food was very mediocre. Me and my wife wanted to share a meal and they acted really weird about it. The margaritas tasted gross, no flavor. I would give this place zero stars if I could. (Update) my wife is sick in the hospital I believe the servers did something to her drink to cause harm. Will update and be filing a police report after checking what’s in her system, she’s pregnant btw.

The place looks ok, could use a remodel, the bathrooms are smelly and absolutely need a remodel. There is a full bar here. The service was great!!! We ordered our food, we ordered a large guacamole and it was this tiny little 3 small scoop plate, not even close to a large, my wife ordered a combo and it showed up with a live, moving cockroach on her rice!!! My wife screamed!!! The waitress came running over and couldn’t stop apologizing!!! I ordered the parillada, which looked really good. The menu looked good which is what brought us here but a cockroach on our food is a huge, Never Again!!! I usually will give something another try but not in this case, a cockroach does not gain a return visit!!!
