Service was excellent. Chicken omg amazing. I got pinto beans and rice. It’s a whole in the wall but those are the best places. You know a restaurant is clean by the restrooms.
My only complaint is maybe get proper napkin holders.
Don’t let the area scare you away. I promise you it’s so worth it. You get so much for your money.

Absolutely the best food I’ve had at a restaurant in a while. Very fresh and healthy. Meat is tender and juicy plus very flavorful. Ice cream bread sauces made in house. It’s extremely clean, smell great. The bathroom even smells amazing, with a plug in freshener and paper towels! Lol it’s the little things like that keeps me coming back. The staff enjoy their jobs and it shows. They’re all kind and courteous. Wonderful establishment. Ps, Papa Que Rico taste like El Pollo but BETTER!!

Form beginning to end, it was a pleasant visit. Nice welcoming people they have security detail to keep homeless or loitering people off around the restaurant, which thats good for business. As you enter, they welcome you with happiness. The place was renovated from an old IHOP. They did a good job with that, its nice, clean, and fresh (temperature speaking).
It started off great with their tasty chips and salsa. Our chiken family meals were delicious, tender, juicy, and flavorful. The sides were very hefty and delicious as well
They have a wide variety of items to choose from. The place is also a bakery and has ice cream. I’m definitely returning to this place.

I’ve had the charbroiled chicken twice now. That’s it – no sides, no drinks, no nonsense. Just that straight up meat.
It’s very good. Way better than El Pollo Loco. Not sure if it’s better than the former Casita Lopez (now Casita Torres, I think) – those folks there serve a tasty chicken. It’s better than a Costco rotisserie chicken, but 4 times better?? I don’t think so.

I have enjoyed Papa Que Rico for years at their Palmdale location and the Lancaster location since it opened.
Always great food and service.
The parking lot is rough, but the inside is clean.
My go to is the half chicken combo with rice, beans, pepper, and tortillas.

First time visiting this place, was craving some delicious chicken to bring back home and enjoy and it did not disappoint. I wasn’t expecting them to have such a variety of food and deserts! We got the chicken combo plate for my husband and i to share and it was delicious! The flavor was good and the crispyness of the exterior of the chicken with tender meet under was a plus. I also got the mango mojito and it was so delicious! Not only is the chicken so good, I like all the intentional pieces like the grilled jalapeños and grilled onions that come with and the green and red salsas. They also have Mexican pan dulce and since we ordered a chicken combo they only charged me for two breads even if I got 4, they also gave us 3 bolillos for free so that we can try! I can’t wait to try other things in their menu and to order a cake from them soon, probably a chocoflan it looked so good! 🙂 Will 100% be back to eat at the restaurant especially to try their breakfast menu with unlimited coffee refills!

We got the whole chicken with rice/ black beans and it did not disappoint at all! The red and green salsas were bomb too! Everything was cooked perfectly and was delicious! Highly recommend it!
And the sweet bread (pan dulce) for 99 cents!! Crazy

Everyone, if you are looking for an eclectic menu of really good food. This is your place. Not the nicest. But, clean, good service and the food is delicious. Their desets are awesomely good. As are their soups. The oxtail spup is amazing. The caldo the res is amazing. It’s takes them a min, but it’s because it’s made fresh and served hot and ready. Their Mexican breads fresh. They have offerings from Gustemala, Colombia, Mexico, Cuba and Peru. It’s crazy. Honestly, give it a try.
