The burgers are really good.. especially the mushroom and Swiss. The fries are decent and the funnel fries are good.. The problem is the portion sizes for the fries are a kids size for $3 and $4 for funnel fries and no other portion sizes. The service is slow and you can tell this place has potential but needs a better management and training. Still new and has plenty of time to adjust.

Do not think you can go inside to beat drive thru.
Drive thru is priority. Ceiling still leaks after 10+ years. Fries and mac bites taste like funnel cakes. Workers were doing their best.

Onion rings are good if they are fresh. They forgot the bacon on my bacon cheeseburger and the lettuce low quality. Burger patties are bland and lack seasoning. Fries lack flavor too.
My biggest issue with this place is the service though. Just going through a drive through you expect an experience that doesn’t stand out. Wait in line l, give them money they give you food move on with your day, but not here. Worst fast food customer service experience I’ve ever had.

We were hoping this Burger Time was delicious like Detroit Lakes, but our hopes were shattered! First off, they delivered the wrong meal but made it correct quickly, the fries were room temperature and the size of a kids meal, the burger thin and cold, I Thought it was made to order. You can not get your own ketchup, only 3 packs for two burgers, 2 fries and chicken strips and no napkins to be found. If the mushroom Swiss was hot, it would have been amazing. Staff did bring us fresh fries as the staff was nice and friendly, hence 1 star only for them otherwise a zero. . We will give it one more shot, if it’s a miss, we will drive across to Burger King! I give this place 6 months. It’s a great location and could do wonderful if heads were pulled out of you know where. I can’t believe management lets this slide. Must be ok with them.

I am editing after going back. I had to return my food twice! I felt so bad for the employees. They were kind and nice and just doing what they were told. The cheese curds were great! The onion rings were good too. The rest not so much. This time the burgers were made wrong. Went back the first time. Than waited for the 2nd time. They were mushy and raw tasting. I finally went back in and said I would like my money back for the Saturday special.
Way better than Saint Cloud. Food was fresh and hot. Worth the wait. Cooked made to order. They have daily specials which are mot posted but if you ask. They are a great deal. The funnel fries were way better. They are normally squishy and soggy in Saint Cloud. Saturday is 2 burger combos for i believe $17.

I’ve loved Burger Time for years but this location is a mess. Wanted bottled water with our combos but was told they “have been out of bottled water for quite a while” so we got tap water with our full-priced combos. Was also overcharged for our daily special combos.
Prices have increased and good quality has gone down considerably.
The girl working the window was friendly – no problems there.
We will not be visiting this location again.

Burger was fine. Patty is pretty thin like a burger king whopper. Mini corn dogs weren’t good. The pulled pork sandwich was on a tiny bun and cold. Definitely not worth the long wait, quantity, quality and price. To bad cause I really liked burger time years ago in elk river. Guessing they will be closed down in a year unless management gets their act together, until then, they will continue to have one and done customers. Definitely not worth going out of your way to eat here.
