If you’re looking for Mexican food that feels like a warm hug from someone’s abuela, Ay Caramba Tres Amigos is the spot. The moment you walk in, you’re hit with an earthy, colorful vibe that makes the whole place feel alive — like a fiesta without being loud or chaotic.
Before I could even look at the menu, the chips arrived with not just one, but two incredible salsas. The classic red salsa had the perfect kick, bright and fresh, but the real star was their cabbage salsa. I don’t know who thought of mixing crisp cabbage with tangy, spicy goodness, but that person deserves an award. I could have eaten a whole bowl of it with a spoon.
Then came the chicken enchiladas with mole sauce, and honestly… life-changing. The chicken was tender, perfectly seasoned, and wrapped in soft tortillas, but the mole? Oh. My. Goodness. Deep, rich, and layered with that perfect balance of smoky, sweet, and savory. It’s the kind of sauce you keep going back for, even after you’re full, because you just can’t let it go.
Ay Caramba Tres Amigos is colorful, comforting, and absolutely packed with flavor. Whether you’re a mole lover or brand new to it, this place will make you a fan. Can’t wait to go back and eat my way through the rest of the menu.

My husband wanted a Chile releno for his birthday. We went all the way to Ephrata to get one, called it in and they were oblivious to what we talking about.
THIS PLACE, has excellent food we had the taco, enchilada, Chile releno, rice and beans.
He got a virgin lime margarita, and I got a stawberry lemonade, both excellent!
To top it off the chip and cabbage salad was the best we ever had.

We visited Ay Caramba Tres Amigos with family, for lunch. We were greeted and sat very quickly. The restaurant was busy, but not terribly so. We looked over the extensive menu, made our selections and ordered. We didn’t have to wait long for our food to arrive. I had ordered the Pollo con Mole. It was a fairly large plate and looked good. The taste was good too. Nice mole flavor. Another in our party ordered the Sope, one of their featured dishes. Everyone enjoyed their selections. Service was very good. Food was very good. Prices were on par with the area.

We were on our way home from Leavenworth and looking for a lunch place. Solely picked aye Caramba based off of name and reviews. My husband got the lunch special and I ordered the chicken fajitas. Food came out timely and hot. So good! Service was polite and helpful.

Nice sit down Mexican food place. Started off with chips, cabbage salsa and regular red salsa. All great. Service was fast and I ordered a some kind of “wet” burrito, which was topped with sour cream, guacamole and lettuce..
Big portion! And tasty.. Could have had a spicier kick to it, but it hit the spot! Didn’t order a drink but the bar looked well stocked.
